If you're here,

Something in your heart is tender.

Maybe you're grieving someone.

Maybe you're hurting.

Maybe you're going through a loss.

Maybe you don't even know what you feel,

Just that it's a lot.

I want you to know you don't have to be brave right now.

You don't have to follow a technique.

You don't have to figure out anything.

All you need to do is just to be here with me,

Present,

Together.

I invite you to place one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly.

Feel that touch point,

Have some warmth under your hands,

Let your body know,

I am here.

I am safe.

I am here with me.

Take a slow breath in and let it fall out very,

Very gently.

Close your eyes and imagine a quiet forest in early spring.

The ground is still cold,

But something underneath is waking.

Roots tighten,

Sap rises,

Branches stretch toward light they cannot yet see.

Spring energy is the energy of push,

Of movement,

Of I cannot stay the same.

Every plant in spring must break something.

The seed,

Shell,

The soil,

The stillness,

That same energy lives in us too.

We feel it as pressure under the ribs,

As heat in the chest,

As the urge to shout,

Move,

Or finally say,

You know.

Sometimes we call it anger,

But really,

It is life trying to break through.

Sometimes it roars.

Sometimes it hides in clenched teeth and silent tears.

Bring your breath into the right side of your body,

Beneath the ribs,

The home of the wood element where emotion becomes motion.

Imagine green light opening like new leaves in sunlight.

Now say quietly to yourself,

Just for today,

I will not be angry.

Not because you are denying the feeling,

But because you are choosing not to turn growth into war.

If there is heat,

Let it be heat.

If there is pressure,

Let it breathe.

You don't need to solve anything.

Just notice the subtle movement.

Because in Reiki,

Even anger is welcomed.

It rises,

It transforms,

And it moves on.

Let the wood energy remind you,

Your pain is not punishment.

It is potential.

Now imagine the forest opening into a warm golden meadow.

The air is softer here.

The ground welcomes you.

This is where everything slows down,

Where the body remembers it's allowed to rest.

This is the realm of earth,

The element of nourishment,

Stability,

Safety.

It's where worry begins to dissolve.

Because worry isn't weakness,

It's just the body trying to prepare for danger that isn't here anymore.

Place both hands gently on your belly.

Feel the rise and fall beneath your palms.

Let your awareness drop down from your mind into your sweet center.

It's like honey.

Imagine a golden light swirling in your abdomen.

Warm,

Comforting,

Steady.

The color of late summer sunlight.

Let that swirl around,

Saturate your belly,

Your spleen.

And say quietly,

Just for today,

I will not worry.

You don't need to push the thoughts away.

You don't need to manage them.

Just bring your attention here,

To this spot.

This warm honey swirling in your center again and again.

Every time you return to the body,

You tell your system the truth.

I am here,

I am not anywhere else.

I am here,

I am safe.

I am in my body.

Let the golden light spread through your hips,

Your stomach,

Your heart.

As if you're being fed from the inside out.

Earth reminds you,

You belong.

You don't have to earn rest.

You don't need permission to be held.

You can put your belly against the earth anytime and take a nap in the sunshine.

And if tears come,

Let them.

Emotional tears carry healing chemistry.

Tiny particles that release years,

Even lifetimes of pain.

Breathe into your belly again.

Let the body soften one layer at a time.

And remember that this moment right here,

Right now,

Is plenty.

Now,

Imagine the season changing.

The warmth of summer fades into a cool,

Clean autumn breeze.

Leaves loosen their crib,

Drift and fall without effort or regret.

This is the energy of metal.

The part of nature that knows how to release what is finished.

Bring your awareness to your chest.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath.

Sometimes when the heart is heavy,

The breath feels held as if your body is waiting for permission to exhale.

Grief is simply breath that hasn't moved yet.

If your throat tightens,

If your eyes sting,

If your chest feels full,

This is just your heart making space.

Imagine a silver white light across the lungs and heart.

Cool,

Clean,

Spacious,

Like fresh air entering a room that's been closed too long.

And if tears come,

Let them.

It's sacred chemistry.

Their job is to carry stress,

Hormones out of the body.

And really,

Some really yummy endorphins are built in pain relief.

Did you know that humans are the only creatures who cry emotional tears?

It means heartbreak is not of law.

It's a spiritual technology.

So if your tears appear,

Let them.

It's your nervous system cleansing itself.

And tell yourself,

Softly,

I let go of what is no longer mine to carry.

There is no rush.

Just space.

Let the leaves fall.

Let the heart unclench.

Let the gravity win and the body soften.

As autumn settles,

Notice the air getting quieter.

Leaves are gone.

Branches bare.

Now the world turns to winter.

Imagine snow falling in silence.

A frozen lake.

A night sky without urgency.

Nothing required of you.

This is winter.

The element of rest,

Surrender and deep,

Deep wisdom.

Bring your awareness to your lower back and kidneys.

This is where the body holds fear.

Not as a flaw,

But as a signal.

I need safety.

I need gentleness.

Water understands this.

She doesn't tell you to be brave.

She doesn't tell you to get over it.

She simply says,

You are allowed to rest now.

Imagine deep blue light pooling in the base of your spine.

Warm as bath water.

Like a hot spring.

Soft as midnight.

Let it hold you the way water holds a stone.

Without asking anything of it.

Fear doesn't need to be conquered.

It needs to be met.

Breathe into your back as if the breath could melt frozen places.

The way winter eventually turns to spring.

With each inhale,

Feel the body soften.

With each exhale,

Feel the fear loose its edge.

You don't have to be strong.

You just have to be here.

Water reminds you.

Stillness is not failure.

When nothing is happening,

It doesn't mean that you are isolated.

Water knows that safety is built slowly,

Quietly in the dark.

Like seeds dreaming beneath snow.

You are still connected to every other seed doing the same.

And now slowly the world thaws.

The ice melts.

The water moves.

And in the distance,

Sunlight returns.

Imagine summer arriving.

Warm air on your skin.

Ripe fruit.

Long days.

The feeling of life blooming again.

This is fire.

The spark of joy,

Desire,

Courage.

And forward motion as if it was coming out of nowhere.

Bring your awareness to your heart.

If you can,

Soften your shoulders.

Uncurl the spine just a little.

As if your body remembers what it feels like to be open.

The winter is over.

Imagine a red gold light glowing in the chest.

Very small at first,

Like a pearl of red gold light.

Like the ember at the bottom of a fire pit.

You don't need to blaze.

You just need one ember.

Just one ember is enough.

Fire says if you feel pain,

It means you are alive.

And if you're alive,

You're not done.

Let warmth build slowly.

A flutter,

A breath,

A pulse of life returning to the places that went numb.

If a smile wants to come,

Even a tiny one,

Allow it.

If your chest wants to rise with the breath,

Let it rise.

If you feel the smallest spark of courage,

Honor it.

You don't have to leap forward.

Fire begins with the flicker.

A little warmth is enough.

Because one ember of light,

One ember can light a candle.

One candle can light a room.

And one room can change everything.

Now imagine all the seasons weaving together.

The full cycle.

Nothing stuck.

Everything moving.

Finally,

Imagine light flowing through your whole body.

Not pushing pain away.

Not forcing healing.

Just allowing movement.

Pain is not a prison.

It's a river.

Let your breath move it.

Let Reiki hold it.

Let the body unclench around it.

Place both hands over your heart now.

You can use your own words,

But tell yourself just for today,

I will be kind to myself.

You don't have to know what comes next.

You don't have to be okay yet.

Healing is already happening.

In ways you can't see.

Take one more long breath in through the belly,

Through the chest.

Exhaling through your mouth.

Letting it all fall out ever so gently.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Take a look around the room you're in,

The environment you're in.

Your heart is still beating.

Your spirit is still here.

And you,

Dear one,

Are slowly,

Beautifully arriving.
