Tap into the magic of presence with this short EFT tapping practice. In this practice we invite all the senses to support us to drop into the gift of the present moment. This practice is for you if you have been feeling 'thinky' or need some support to ground. EFT tapping is a practice that combines TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and modern psychology to support in regulating the nervous system.

This is a short EFT tapping meditation for presence,

Finding a comfortable seated position and just noticing how present you feel right now from one to ten.

Ten being not super present and one being super present.

We'll just get a sense of how present you're feeling right now,

Maybe it's a percentage.

And then with your eyes open,

Just looking around you,

Looking around the room or the space you're in,

Taking your time to slowly gaze around the space you're in.

Even if this is a space that's familiar to you,

Just really taking your time to slowly gaze,

To use this like magic sense of vision to orient yourself in space,

In time,

In this moment.

Taking special care to look behind you,

Above you.

And when you're ready,

Closing down the eyes and seeing whether you could invite that same sense of gazing through your being,

This internal awareness of your body,

How it's feeling right now,

Your emotional,

Mental,

Physical,

Spiritual body.

Just noticing,

Just bringing awareness to you.

Then when you're ready,

Coming to tap on the setup statement point on the side of your hand,

Repeating out loud after me,

Taking full responsibility for your well-being.

And inserting any words that resonate with you and your experience.

Even though I'm not feeling super present right now,

I choose to meet myself with compassion here.

Even though I haven't been feeling super present,

I choose to pull my awareness and attention into this moment now.

Even though I'm not feeling very present,

I choose to love and honour myself as I am.

Tapping on the inside of the eyebrows and just really feeling your fingers tapping on your forehead here,

Noticing how light you're tapping,

The pressure,

The pulse.

Tapping on the outside of the eyes,

Really noticing how it feels to tap these points on your body.

Tapping underneath the eyes,

Taking a deep breath in,

Breathing all the way from your toes up to the crown of your head.

Letting the air go out of the mouth.

Tapping underneath the nose,

Breathing in deeply again from the toes.

Exhaling out of the nose and feeling the air touch your lip that's,

The finger,

Sorry,

That's tapping above your lip.

Tapping underneath the bottom lip and saying out loud,

Noticing my body breathing.

Tapping under the collarbones,

Thanking my body for breathing.

As you tap underneath the collarbones,

Could you imagine gratitude seeping into your lungs,

Thanking your lungs for breathing without you even being consciously aware of it all the time.

Tapping underneath the armpits,

Thanking my lungs for breathing.

Thanking my body for breathing,

Sending that gratitude into your lungs,

Your body here.

Tapping on the crown of the head,

Thanking my body for thinking.

Feeling this gratitude move into the mind,

The brain now.

Tapping on the inner eyebrow points,

Thanking my body,

My brain for breathing,

For thinking.

Outside of the eyes and choosing to bring my awareness into this moment now.

Tapping underneath the eyes,

Noticing something,

That I can hear.

And just noticing the sounds that are closest to you,

Maybe my voice,

Your breath.

Tapping underneath the nose and noticing the sounds that are as far away as you can hear.

Tapping underneath the bottom lip and seeing whether you could just witness all of the sounds available to you here.

Tapping underneath the collarbones and saying out loud,

Grateful to listen.

Underneath the armpits,

Grateful for my senses.

Crown of the head,

Choosing to invite my senses to bring me into the present moment,

Into presence here and now.

Tapping the inside of the eyebrows,

Taking a deep breath in through the body from the toes,

All the way up to the crown of the head.

Pause with the breath,

Hold for a moment,

Take an extra sip in at the top and exhale out of the mouth,

Back down through the body.

And as you do that,

Feel your body's weight on the surface beneath you.

Tapping on the outside of the eyes,

Saying out loud,

Welcoming presence here.

Tapping underneath the eyes,

Presence is a gift and I choose to be with it.

Underneath the nose,

Just notice what you notice here.

Notice where your attention goes,

What you can see,

Hear,

Smell,

Taste,

What you can touch and feel.

Underneath the bottom lip,

Just allowing this kind of receptivity to presence,

To this moment,

To your experience.

Tapping underneath the collarbones and then crossing the hands over,

So the left hand taps underneath the right collarbone and the right collarbone is tapped by the left hand.

Wait,

You know what I mean,

Swap your hands over.

And just really feeling your hands meet your body here with these taps.

Tapping underneath the armpits,

Saying,

I welcome myself into presence here and now.

Crown of the head,

I choose to be with the gift of presence.

And gently bringing your hands down in your lap.

And noticing how present you feel now,

Percentage-wise,

Or maybe from one to 10.

Thank you so much for joining me.
