Thank you for choosing this meditation today.

Today this meditation is about finding acceptance.

Find a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed by anyone or anything for the duration of the meditation.

Get into a comfortable position,

Preferably laying down,

And make sure you are warming up.

Sometimes when we get still,

Our mind will start to go a million miles a minute.

That's what the mind does.

Let it go and breathe.

Notice where breath comes in your body and notice where breath leaves your body.

Let's take five deep breaths together.

Inhale and exhale slowly.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

One more,

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

Let your eyes wander around,

Looking at all the things around you,

Without looking too long at anything in particular.

Now allow your mind to choose something in front of you to focus on,

And don't look away.

Find that thing to focus on and slowly blink your eyes,

And with each number I say,

Blink once,

Continuing to stare at that spot in between numbers.

Ten,

Blink,

Nine,

Blink,

Eight,

Blink,

Seven,

Blink,

Six,

Blink,

Five,

Blink,

Four,

Blink,

Three,

Blink,

Two,

Blink,

One,

Blink,

And zero.

Allow your eyes to gently close,

And as you do this,

Feel a wave of relaxation sweep over you.

Notice how heavy your eyes feel,

And breathe.

Continue to breathe in,

Continue to breathe out.

Sometimes in meditation you might feel movement under your eyelids.

This is normal.

These small eye movements help your body to feel calm.

Let it happen,

And breathe.

Notice your nose,

And feel a slight sensation of the air moving in and out with your breath.

When you breathe in,

Imagine that you are being filled with calmness,

And when you breathe out,

Imagine your body feels heavy and deeply relaxed.

Notice your ears.

Take a deep breath in,

And take a deep breath out.

Notice how your ears feel,

And what they hear around you.

Notice noise in the distance,

And noises that are up close.

If the mind comes in and wants to make a judgment or tell a story,

Let it go.

It's what the mind does.

Come back to the breath.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

As sounds come into your ears,

Allow them to act as little waves of relaxation that take you even deeper.

Notice my voice.

And as you notice my voice,

Know that from here forward you can only hear my voice guiding.

Continue to breathe.

Deep breath in,

And out.

Any other sounds that you notice will only take you deeper into a state of calmness.

Notice your mouth.

How does it feel?

Just notice it.

Again,

If the mind comes in to make a judgment or tell a story,

Come back to the breath.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

Notice your neck.

Notice how it feels right now,

And any sensation in your neck.

Move your focus down to your shoulders.

Feeling the breath slowly down each arm,

All the way to each fingertip.

Just notice and breathe.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

Notice your upper back.

What's happening there now?

If you notice or feel any tension,

Breathe into it and let it go.

Deep breath in,

And a deep breath out.

Imagine now that you're breathing into your heart space.

Feel your heart beating strongly,

Supporting you.

Breathe into your heart space.

Deep breath in,

And out.

Notice your belly.

How does it feel in this moment?

Take a deep breath in and imagine bringing the breath down into your belly.

The mind comes in and wants to tell a story or make a judgment.

Come back to the breath.

Deep breath in,

And let it out.

Notice your lower back.

Notice any tension there.

Imagine bringing the breath down into the lower back.

Notice your pelvis and your hips and any sensations that are there in this moment.

Take a deep breath in and out,

Letting it all go.

Imagine bringing the breath down each leg.

Breathe.

Imagine you are bringing the breath to the tip of each toe.

Deep breath in,

And out.

Deep breath in,

And out.

We're going to bring our breath back up the body the same way we came.

And as we do,

Imagine that in through your toes you are slowly pulling in your favorite color.

This color feels happy.

It feels soothing.

It is loving and it is healing.

Take a deep breath in and imagine that this color is coming into your toes and your feet.

It goes up your legs,

Passing through your knees and up into your pelvis and your hips.

As you continue to breathe in,

This color is filling up your belly.

You can feel the love.

Can feel how soothing and peaceful it is.

Relaxing your vital organs as it continues into your heart space and your lungs.

It's healing you as it fills you.

It goes across your shoulders and down each arm all the way to the fingertips.

Breathe it in.

Moving up your neck,

Relaxing you as it goes.

It fills up your mouth,

Your ears,

Nose,

Eyes,

And fills every area of your body.

Every area,

Every cell,

Every part of you feels loved,

Feels peace,

Feels relaxed.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

As you listen to my voice,

Your body and mind at a very deep level will build your ability to accept.

You are capable of creating a life that is loving,

That is peaceful,

That is joyful,

That is passionate and fulfilling.

Breathe in and breathe out.

You are fully capable of relaxing at any time you need to,

Allowing for life to come as it does,

Accepting the moments that are challenging as well as those that are fulfilling and productive.

When you feel a moment of tension come,

The way you instantly relax is to take a big deep breath and focus only on that breath when you do so.

Deep breath in and let it out.

Deep breath in and let it out.

Allow nothing else to matter except your breath.

You need to continue to breathe.

The breath is key.

In life,

The secret to happiness is to accept things as they are,

No resistance,

No fighting,

No white knuckling,

Just acceptance.

We don't have to like what's happening,

But we can accept that it is happening.

You are capable of accepting any situations as they come without trying to fix them,

Change them,

Or manipulate them.

You can allow your feelings to be present with what is,

To feel your feelings no matter how big they are and still accept what is.

Continue to breathe.

Deep breath in and let it out.

Breathing helps to allow acceptance.

It allows the mind to be clear and your body to be calm.

We don't have to like what is happening in order to accept it.

We can always come back to the breath to remind us to be present.

Life can flow when we don't fight what is.

There is so much strength in accepting what is.

Take a deep breath in and let it out.

Repeat after me.

I can relax whenever I want to by breathing deeply and I fully accept others and situations as they come.

Deep breath in and let it out.

One more deep breath in and let it out.

Breathe.

Breathe into this now moment.

Deep breath in and let it out.

One more deep breath in and let it out.

We're going to come back to being awake and having the awareness that there is such a large capacity,

A greater capacity to accept what is.

As you show up to life a little bit different,

You feel stronger.

You feel and know your capability.

You know there is a power inside of you to be present and accept what is.

One,

Take a deep breath.

Two,

Breathe.

Three,

Continue to breathe.

Four,

Start to blink your eyes.

Five.

Six.

Continuing to blink your eyes and start to wiggle your body.

Seven.

Really becoming awake.

Eight.

Looking around you,

Remembering where you're at.

Nine.

More fully awake.

And ten.

Fully aware.

Fully awake.

Fully present to what is.

Let's take one more deep breath.

Inhale and exhale.

Place your hands on your heart space and take a moment.

Just honor yourself.

Forgiving yourself 20 minutes of time to breathe and to find some acceptance.

Deep breath in and let it out.

Namaste.
