Welcome to this short breathwork exploration.

My name is Tyrell and I'm going to be your guide today.

Today we're going to be spending about three minutes breathing rhythmically in through the mouth,

Out through the mouth,

And then we're going to spend several minutes just in a nice deep relaxed and restorative meditative state.

I'd invite you to spend a moment to just set your intention.

Where do you want to journey and explore today?

Are there any big questions that you're looking for clarity on?

And as we go into the breathwork and the meditation,

You're welcome to just check in with your body,

Stay connected,

And enjoy the journey,

Letting go of any outcome.

And you can really go for it here.

You're going to begin to hear the breath coming in here.

Two-part inhale,

Belly,

Chest,

Out.

These first few breaths,

You can start to join me.

They're really just about finding the rhythm.

Belly,

Chest,

Out.

And with this type of breathwork,

The first few moments can be a little bit challenging.

Our minds can try to convince us that we shouldn't do this.

Just stay with that breath.

And even now,

You might start to feel the body waking up a little bit.

If you need to move any nervous energy out of the body,

Go ahead and do that.

Maybe it's wiggling your arms or your hands,

Readjusting your shoulders.

You can start to take that breath a little bit deeper.

Belly,

Chest,

Out.

In,

In,

Out.

Stay with it.

That's it.

Great work.

You can feel your body waking up,

That energy maybe coursing through your skin,

Through your feet.

See if you can just let go of the mind's need to hold on,

To be active.

I begin to imagine my body just breathing itself,

And I begin to just be along for the ride.

Belly,

Chest,

And out.

Let it go.

Maybe just having this huge moment of appreciation for the life you feel inside of your body.

You can stay here with full lungs for as long as you'd like,

Or maybe let yourself exhale and hold with empty lungs.

Exploring the edges of those breath holds.

Exploring the space that opens up when we let go of every outcome,

Every thought,

And we just stay connected to the body.

Every sensation,

Every pulsation,

Exploring it with openness.

Whenever you're ready to come back to the breath,

We're going to continue to use that breath,

But we're going to go deeper and wander from the bottom of your pelvis all the way up to your throat.

Maybe pursing your lips on the exhale,

Feeling like you could exhale forever.

And then every few breaths,

Find a moment of stillness.

Noticing that you don't need to breathe in or out.

You can just be.

Be with all of yourself.

What a beautiful feeling just to be.

Knowing that you have this time,

And that you have everything you need inside of you.

Be exploring the knowing,

The truth,

The deep wisdom.

That begins to emerge in those moments of stillness.

Just take a moment here to check in with your body and ask it if there's any movement,

Any shift or change in posture.

Maybe with the position of your hands.

Be expanding your arms up overhead or rolling over and curling into a ball.

Your body may tell you what it needs right now.

The invitation is just to follow it for the next minute or two.

We're getting to the close to the end of this exploration.

So over the next few moments,

Wherever you are,

You can begin to think about bringing yourself back,

Bringing your mind back into your body,

Feeling that connection to the earth.

Bringing a little bit of movement to your arms,

Your hands,

Your feet,

Your legs.

Taking a couple of breaths where you're just bringing yourself back and appreciating the journey.

And maybe taking a moment to transition.

And just sitting in stillness,

Eyes open.

Maybe grabbing a notebook,

Writing down any of those little intuitions or insights that came up.

And then making a nice,

Smooth transition into wherever you're going next.
