Welcome!

Let's do a little meditation.

This will be a medium-length meditation,

And let me note,

As I often do,

We'll spend some time coming out of meditation,

As I think that's a part of this process all too often ignored,

And that it's really necessary to make a mindful exit from meditation in order that we preserve what we've learned,

Or the state that we've achieved,

Or the peace that we've found.

So we'll be doing a mindful exit,

But for now,

Let's get started.

Relax and get comfortable.

Relax.

Really,

Really relax.

Close your eyes.

Relax.

Take a deep breath in,

Out,

Another in,

And out,

Another in,

And out,

And now a normal breath,

Maybe three quarters in,

And out.

Relax.

Settle into yourself.

Let your mind be clear.

Things will come to you.

Ideas,

Memories,

Feelings,

Sensations.

Let them come.

Let them go.

They will come,

And they will go.

Don't be carried along with them.

Don't try to control or prevent them.

Just be open.

Just be open just for now,

Here in this beautiful,

Clear space.

Notice that you are fully aware and effortlessly alert here.

Things may come and go,

But you're here,

Effortlessly alert,

And as part of that effortlessness,

Alertness,

Notice.

Notice the peace that goes with it,

The peace that you're experiencing here and now.

Notice it.

Be conscious of it,

This clear,

Expansive space.

Notice the peace.

If something disturbs your peace,

Just give it up,

Just for now.

Just let it go,

Just for now,

And allow yourself to know the richness and the fullness that is here,

Complete,

Perfect,

Beautiful,

As it is.

Open the inner richness of who you really are here and now.

It's a richness of openness.

It's a richness of fullness and completeness.

It's the richness of not wanting,

Just being here,

Now,

Full,

Complete,

In this wonderful,

Beautiful peace that is your real nature,

Your real nature.

Allow yourself to rest here,

Here as what you really are,

Here in this beauty and clarity.

Naturally,

Just allow yourself,

Just for now,

To be what you really are,

Whole,

Complete,

With this richness of perfection,

This richness of not wanting.

Not wanting.

Allow this richness,

This wholeness,

To be as it is part of you,

Naturally,

Impartially you,

Equally you.

Just be in this wonderful space and moment of settling into yourself and knowing this is the real you.

Remember the idea of not wanting.

Remember this moment of clarity and perfection and peace,

The peace of not wanting.

Celebrate,

Celebrate this peace of not wanting.

It's part of you.

It's here.

It's perfect.

It's natural,

And you can come here anytime.

Relax and notice how you are aware and at peace at the same time.

Relax.

Take another breath,

A deep breath in and out,

Another in and out,

And another in and out,

And now a normal breath in and out,

In and out.

Now change your focus from inside to outside.

Move a little.

Perhaps straighten your posture.

Move a little more.

Rub your hands together.

Notice the feeling.

Gently rub your eyes.

Notice the feeling.

Now open your eyes and look around.

If there are others present,

Acknowledge them.

If not,

Just express your gratitude for the moment of being centered in yourself.

You know you can come back here anytime,

But I hope we can do this together again.
