This meditation is for the greatest relationship possible and that is the relationship you have with your inner child… which can also be seen as the consciousness of your spirit. Without a strong and healthy relationship to your inner child, it is hard to have strong healthy relationships with others. I learned this practice from Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and his teaching with the Ho’Oponopono. Although it is my interpretation I do want to credit his work for it has helped me so very much. I hope it will help you too.

So wherever you are,

If you can,

Close your eyes and let's begin by grounding our energy together.

Taking a nice deep inhale and exhale,

Calling back all the many parts that have been scattered through your day.

Inhaling,

Breathing up the body and exhale,

Pulling that breath back down,

Calling in your higher self,

Lining the spiritual body right on top of the physical body.

Continuing that breath,

Inhaling and exhaling.

As we call in our masters,

Our teachers,

The archangels and our own spirit guides,

We ask that they work with us and through us to surround us and protect us as we open up to this work.

We honor where we are right now,

This beautiful season of spring.

The medicine wheel,

We honor the direction of the east where we find the season of spring for planting,

For creating,

Where the sun rises each and every day.

We anchor in these directions to the east,

The south,

The west and the north,

Above us,

Below us,

Pulling in right into your spirit,

Empowering your work.

Continue the breath,

Exhaling back down.

As we center our energy,

As we open up to this inner child meditation,

One of the most important relationships there is in creation.

So we begin by acknowledging for the first time in creation this inner child that is within.

To acknowledge this inner child by saying,

I love you,

I love you.

Acknowledge the inner child by talking,

By offering,

I am sorry.

I am sorry for all these accumulated pains and suffering.

I am sorry.

I am so sorry for all of these old memories that I hold onto.

Please forgive me.

Please forgive me.

I am so sorry for all the suffering.

I love you.

Thank you for being there.

I love you.

And then ask permission of the inner child to offer your love and acknowledgement.

Offer to the child,

I love you.

I love you.

Please forgive me for all the accumulated woes that you have.

I am sorry.

I am so sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you for not being aware,

For not knowing.

I am so sorry.

I love you.

I love you so much.

Thank you.

Thank you.

And then ask the inner child if you can hold their head.

And you take the head in your arms and you stroke the head through your mind's eye and offer your love.

I love you.

You say to the child,

I love you.

Thank you so much.

I love you.

I love you.

Thank you.

Thank you for being a part of me.

I'm sorry if I have been neglectful.

I'm sorry for not taking good care of you,

For not acknowledging you more.

I am so sorry.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I love you.

I love you.

As you continue to talk to the child,

Take an inventory of what's going on,

An inventory of all the old memories,

Of all the old pains and suffering.

And then ask the child,

If you don't mind,

Help me.

Help me to let go.

Help me to let go of all this suffering.

Help me to free myself and you.

As you take an inventory,

You continue to offer the forgiveness.

Offer gratitude for showing up,

For everything that's going on.

We offer the consciousness,

The divinity,

The source to set it free.

Whatever the problem,

We offer gratitude.

I am so sorry.

Sorry for all the accumulated suffering,

The memories,

The problems.

I am so sorry.

Please forgive me.

Then ask the child for their hand and take one of the hands in your mind's eye and gently stroke the hand as you hold it,

Offering love and gratitude as you hold this hand.

And take another inventory.

Maybe it's some financial relationship you need to heal and you offer forgiveness.

You offer to let go of the struggle,

To forgive the abuse,

The abuse of the relationship,

The struggle you may have with this issue.

Please let go.

You offer acknowledging this part.

Thank you.

I love you.

I love you so much.

Please forgive me for being neglectful with my finances.

Please forgive me for not being aware.

I am so sorry.

I am so sorry.

Thank you.

I love you.

And then ask to hold the other hand and take the other hand in yours,

Holding it gently,

Offering love and forgiveness.

See yourself.

I offer you love.

Thank you.

Thank you so much.

Thank you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Take another inventory.

What else is going on?

What is the struggle in these relationships?

And then just ask of the inner child.

Please let go.

Forgive me for not knowing.

Thank you.

Please forgive me.

I am so sorry.

I love you.

And now ask the child to hold its shoulders and just say,

Please allow me to hold the shoulders and hold them as you offer love.

I love you.

Please forgive me for not knowing about the struggles,

About all the responsibilities you're holding onto,

For not loving you,

For not being aware that you're there.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for being a part of me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And gently,

Very gently,

Hold on to this inner child and hug her.

Hold on and hug her deeply,

Softly,

Easily.

Love this part.

Offer,

I am sorry.

Please,

Please forgive me.

I am sorry.

Offer your thanks for being willing to let go so that you and this inner child can walk hand in hand with divinity and into the light.

Align your energy to be at one with the inner child.

Let us offer the breathing in this final step.

We begin by breathing in on a count of seven,

Inhaling,
