So yoga is an ancient collection of knowledge that originated in India more than 5,
000 years ago and the word yoga has its origin in the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit which means to unite or to integrate Yoga is absolutely about uniting the consciousness of the individual with an universal consciousness We can describe it is a self-knowledge and the techniques that yoga describes are tools That help us return the ability to be in balance with body mind and spirit at the same time Over many years several yoga direction and school have developed and differ in their approaches and method But all of them have the same roots at looking at yoga Yoga is an approach to life a journey and the main goal in life Ancient yogis believed that we should be in harmony with ourself and our environment and our body mind and spirit Must be one and in order to help all of these aspects united our emotions action and thoughts must be balanced Yogis have left us a description how to achieve and maintain this equilibrium We can achieve it by mastering the three main principles of yoga which are the physical exercise breathing and meditation Today many of us think of yoga as a form of physical exercise that I call asanas From this point of view yoga is a set of exercise and the benefit of regular exercise include for example strengthening and stretching the whole body relaxation stress relief inner peace weight loss and overall balance The beauty of yoga is its versatility so everyone can practice yoga children young people middle-aged people seniors holy people and the sick It is necessary to find a style that is suitable for you And it's especially important to set aside time for regular practice If you are a beginner I recommend starting the lessons for beginners And it may be also a good idea to try different styles to find the one that works for you the best With the long-term regular exercise yoga will lead you to the harmony of your body and mind There are also a few main path of yoga First is called bhakti yoga,
