My name is Teresa,

I am the founder of Nithyam Studio.

In today's podcast we will discuss the topic of mantra yoga.

Mantra yoga is a beautiful way and technique to experience the real meaning and real practice of yoga.

Mantra is a spiritual world,

A sound or phrase originally in Sanskrit.

Mantras came from Vedas and in Veda there are many thousands and thousands of written mantras.

There are also many types of mantras and we can use them in different ways.

The goal behind mantras is to get the mind totally rested,

Relaxed,

Quiet and also silent.

When we repeat mantras a hundred times we will see that our mind naturally start focusing and concentrating and getting relaxed.

When we also repeat mantras many times we get to experience the mantra.

Mantra helps to concentrate and calm down our mind.

The sound has a lot of effects,

Just think about when you hear something negative,

How your emotions change.

Mantra sense is a very old tradition.

Mantra is one way in bhakti yoga.

People have used mantras for meditation purpose and to guide the mind through mantras.

And according to tradition mantra that we see in Vedas came from the universe.

Rishis brought mantras to the world.

Rishis are the spiritual people who spend their whole life in meditation.

They have connected with the higher consciousness and with their universal force.

They have received those mantras.

That knowledge is within me,

That knowledge is within you,

That knowledge is in all human beings.

Mantra is basically a positive sound vibration.

People are using mantras for health,

Mental health and spiritual awakening.

We have got different mantras.

The most famous one are for example Beach Mantra,

Gayatri Mantra or Hare Krishna Mantra.

And everyone have the freedom to choose mantras from which tradition or cultures they came from.

And what we see outside is already inside in our body.

What is in our body is also in the space.

So who have experience and where with the body and the mind and who have understood the mechanism of the body for them it becomes easy to understand how this universe is functioning and how it works.
