This poetic closing meditation invites you to release the pressure for dramatic transformation and instead honour the power of small, steady shifts. Through gentle imagery and embodied awareness, you’ll explore how letting one small thing be enough can support real change, nervous system safety, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself as a new year unfolds.

Hi love,

I'm Teresa,

Welcome.

I'm really glad you're here.

Before we begin,

Take a slow breath and let your body arrive where you are.

There's nothing to fix in this moment.

Just let yourself be here,

And we'll begin together.

We are often taught that change must be dramatic to be real,

That transformation should be obvious,

That if we're doing it right,

Everything should shift at once.

But that isn't how the nervous system learns,

And it isn't how lives actually change.

So today,

We're letting one small thing be enough.

Take a breath,

And bring your attention to something simple.

The rise of your chest,

The support of your body,

The quiet steadiness of this moment.

Change often begins here,

Not with a declaration,

But with a soft choice repeated over time.

One breath that interrupts a spiral.

One boundary that creates a little more space.

One moment of rest taken without explanation.

One truth you stop arguing with.

Let your body feel the relief of not having to do everything at once.

There is wisdom in smallness.

There is power in what is sustainable.

There is safety in choosing what your body can hold.

Imagine carrying this year,

Not as a list of goals,

But as a series of small,

Faithful gestures toward yourself.

Let that image settle.

Let it take root.

You don't need to become someone new overnight.

You only need to stay in relationship with what is quietly changing within you.

As you come back,

Notice how your body feels now.

If you'd like to continue,

You're welcome to explore my other meditations here.

Move gently.

Thank you for sharing this time with me.

And as you return to your day,

Remember as always,

You are loved.

You are whole.

You are enough.
