Let's begin by finding stillness.

Close your eyes and soften your gaze if that feels okay for you.

Take a long,

Slow breath in and a gentle breath out.

Notice the sounds around you,

The feeling of the air on your skin,

The subtle details of this moment.

You are a sensitive being.

Your nervous system takes in more than you may even realize.

Notice the light,

The sounds,

The textures,

The energies of others.

It is a form of wisdom,

It is your body's way of guiding you toward what nourishes and away from what overwhelms.

Let's bring awareness now to your senses.

Notice the rhythm of your breath.

Notice the way your body rests against the surface beneath you.

Notice how even in stillness,

Your body feels and responds.

Imagine a gentle boundary around you,

A soft cocoon of light,

And within this cocoon,

Only what is nourishing may enter.

All that is too much stays outside.

Here your senses are safe.

Here your body is honored.

There may have been times when your sensitivity felt like too much,

When you compared yourself to others,

Or believed you needed to toughen up.

But sensitivity is a gift,

It is your attunement to the world around you,

Your deep connection to life itself.

You are allowed to rest,

You are allowed to say no,

You are allowed to leave early,

You are allowed to seek quiet,

You are allowed to protect your energy,

You are allowed to imagine yourself in a safe,

Nourishing space,

Perhaps a forest clearing.

Or a familiar room filled with light.

And just feel how supported you are here.

Let yourself rest in this truth.

Your sensitivity is not a burden.

It is a compass.

It is your way of being deeply alive.

Take a few slow breaths in gratitude for this gift,

And when you are ready,

Return gently to the present moment,

Carrying the reminder through your day that honoring your sensitivity is an act of self-love.

You are loved,

You are worthy,

You are enough.
