This is a guided conscious circular breathwork practice that focuses on creating space to get out of your head and drop into your heart to really go after your dream, no matter how outrageous it may seem. It's about giving yourself permission and inspiration to do the thing you came to this planet to do. Note: I recommend having done the conscious circular 3-part breath pattern before or be gentle with it after you listen to the instructions fully and take it easy on your first time.

Welcome to The Daily Insight.

My name is Rebecca Kordeci and I'm a breathwork teacher and mindfulness coach here on Insight Timer.

Before we begin today's practice,

I want to invite you to find a cozy quiet spot that you can dedicate to your morning,

Afternoon,

Or evening breathwork mindfulness practice.

Whether you come here to do breathwork with me or you come here just to get grounded,

I want this to be a place where you feel you can just drop in to your deeper work and get into a creative flow.

Just a couple of quick reminders for those of you who might not have ever done the three-part breath pattern.

I want to make sure that you have the best possible experience with this breath track so it's important that I cover the things that can come up.

And if you've already done the three-part breath before or are familiar with these instructions,

Feel free to skip right ahead to the actual practice.

The first area that you're most likely to feel something is physically.

Your body might vibrate,

It might tingle,

You might feel hot,

You might feel cold,

You might feel like you're out of your body looking down.

But the biggest thing that could happen is your body might start to cramp in certain areas and the specific area where the cramping happens is in the hands.

It's called tetany.

It can be a little uncomfortable.

It can feel really awkward.

I'm gonna ask you to be willing to push through just to see what's on the other side of that discomfort.

The next area where you might feel some discomfort is emotionally.

You might have that big ugly cry.

You know the one I'm talking about.

You might also have soft gentle tears just coming down your face.

You're not sure why,

But it feels good.

You might giggle,

You might let out some angst.

All of these are normal and welcomed because the truth is most of us who practice breath work,

We don't do it to come breathe.

We do it because of all the magic that the breath allows us to connect back to.

So when some emotions come up,

I say go for it.

Let it out.

Let them go and move through them.

So if you got tears in your ears,

You're doing this practice right.

And if you don't,

You're also doing it right because there's no judgment.

The last area where you might feel some pushback is mentally.

Your brain is gonna want to tell you this is really silly.

Why am I doing this?

Why am I laying here listening to this track with my mouth open and doing this breath work?

I could be doing a thousand other things.

It'll give you all kinds of excuses,

But your job is to try to get out of your head and get into your beautiful heart.

That is all this work is about is trying to get your head to turn off and your heart to turn on.

So if it gets a little uncomfortable,

If any of those things physically,

Emotionally or mentally come up for you,

Could you be willing to push through and see what's on the other side waiting for you?

You won't know if you don't try.

So I'll be right here coaching you along the way to help you drop in,

Let it go and let it flow one breath at a time.

So settling into that space now,

Let's ground ourselves with a couple of deep connected breaths.

We'll breathe into the nose,

Into the belly and then exhale out the mouth letting everything fall away.

Let's do those together.

Big inhale into the nose,

Into the belly.

Opening up the mouth,

Exhale let it all fall away.

Let's do that again.

And one more time.

Exhale let everything fall away.

Today's practice is all about stepping into your outrageous dream and why you are here.

Like what is that thing that you know deep in your core,

Deep in your heart that is the reason why you're on this planet.

That's what I want to get to today with the breath.

So the things that I'll be coaching as you're breathing will all be to inspire you to sometimes get out of your own way,

Let go of any of the things that are in your way and allow you to step in fully to your outrageous dream one breath at a time.

So as you begin you should be laying down either on your mat or your cushions unless for some reason you do this practice sitting up which is okay.

But the best way to get a full deep flow of the breath is to be lying down so I encourage you to lie down if that's a possible position for you.

And so with hand on the belly hand on that beautiful heart of yours let's all open up the mouth taking in a big deep full belly breath,

Heart breath,

Exhale let it all go.

Good and remembering this practice conscious circular three-part breath is one breath after the other connected breaths.

In whatever flow or tempo or depth that you will take your practice in today get out of your head about it and trust that it's exactly perfect and if you can go deeper go deeper if you want to speed it up a little bit speed it up a little bit but you are the boss of your breath work today.

So as we continue with the breath I want you to ask yourself the first question can I just be willing to step into my outrageous dream?

Can I just be willing one breath at a time to step in fully without any preconceived notions without any expectations of what you get when you get there but can you just be willing to lean in fully and see where that leads?

Remembering that every single breath every breath is an opportunity for you to connect deeper to go places maybe you haven't gone before because you've been distracted by things around you by things on your to-do list by Instagram by social media of any sort and whatever those things are could you be willing today with me to let them fall away one breath at a time.

Inhale belly inhale beautiful heart exhale let some stuff fall away continuing to keep the mouth open filling the belly full deep breaths connected beautiful sweet oxygen bringing it into your belly into your heart then exhale letting it all fall away.

One breath after the other and remembering that this breath has wisdom this breath has life force this breath has energy vibration kindness answers to your questions beauty sweetness but it only has that if you're willing to allow it to touch you so on every inhale breathe in a little deeper a little fuller a little more connected to the sweet spot in you.

We all get this one life you know this one opportunity this one chance to show up and be who we came here to be so on every inhale every single one of them breathe in deeper and fuller and connect back to why you're here what that purpose is what that outrageous dream that you came here to do to give to this planet breathe into that bigger fuller deeper breaths and I'm right here holding space for you as you continue to breathe in deeper and fuller one breath after the other.

And maybe on the next breath cycle you ask yourself this question what is it that lights me up more than anything else on this planet what is it that I do when I'm in that flow state that fills me up and let that answer come to you don't force it breathe into that answer on every single deep breath I bet you that answer will come clear if you're willing and every single exhale can you be willing to let go loosen the grip let go of the reins break the chain whatever it is that you have to do to finally free some space in that beautiful heart of yours in that beautiful mind of yours free some space for all of what you are meant to do one breath at a time belly heart exhale let it go inhale open and allow exhale release surrender let go and look I don't know what the things you struggle with are I don't know what the things in your head the stories in your head that might keep you up at night or the things that wake you up in the middle of the night I don't know what those are but I have a pretty good understanding of what most people struggle with and I think we're more alike than we are dissimilar so if I have a good understanding it would be things like I'm not worthy I don't deserve it I don't have what it takes it's too late for me my time has come and gone I'm never gonna get that thing it's too much work I don't have the funds I don't have the resources but what if what if you could let go of those negative loops those silly stories in your head and you could step into the truth the truth which is you have everything you need you are exactly the right person for this dream you are exactly right where you need to be to get it done you have every single resource you need once you decide that you're worthy of it once you decide that it's your human right to step into it so on every inhale breathe in I am worthy I am deserving I have a big dream and I can make it happen I can do it I believe that it's my time every exhale allow yourself to let go of one more story one more excuse one more blame one more bit of shame or guilt or fear that may be the reason why you're feeling stuck what if on every exhale you release a little more fear the thing that keeps you stuck sometimes fear is the reason why we don't do that thing we're afraid what if we fail what if we suck what if we're not meant to do it and people finally figure it out but what if all of that is just a lie is just an excuse for you to stay safe so I invite you on every inhale to say uh-huh goodbye fear sorry fear you're not doing this to me anymore and on every inhale breathe in I can I will I am I deserve it and exhale everything else in your way breathe in it's my human right to be happy it's my human right to step into my outrageous dream and look out world here I come I'm leaning all in I'm going all in I'm doing this thing and nobody's stopping me not the voices in my head not the silly stories my ex used to tell me about who I am not what my parents told me I could or couldn't do none of it none of it is gonna keep me small or stuck any more so on every inhale breathe in I have every single thing I need and breathe in a little more I am light I am peace I am love I am freedom breathe in I am safe I'm safe to step into my outrageous dream I'm safe to try it I'm safe to check it out I'm safe to believe I can exhale every single excuse every story every fear let it all go breathe bigger deeper fuller connected breaths keep breathing one breath at a time and I'm right here holding space for you believing in you trusting in you sending you good vibrations to do this work one breath at a time if you're breathing along and you're feeling too much in your head what if you can give yourself a mantra to get out of your head and get into your heart whatever that needs to be like brain let me have a break today heart and spirit please lead turn your head off turn your heart on on every single inhale breathe in I deserve this quiet time I deserve this self-care time breathe in whatever it is that you need more of maybe you need a little more self-love maybe you need a little more gentle maybe you need a little more sweet say good things in your head tell yourself the truth about who you are the truth about why you're here on this planet because we get this one shot right this one life to be who we came here to be to touch the planet in our unique special way we don't get to do this again not in this body not with this spirit so could you be willing to really step into all of who you are let go of the fear let go of the shame let go of the guilt and step into that outrageous dream in all of your beautiful essence all of your giggly playful self all of your sweetness all of your aliveness all of your creative energy flowing freely feel all of who you are in every breath breathe into connecting back to your truth and ask yourself if not now when really when because we don't know I don't know you get another sunset we don't know we get another sunrise every single day whether it sounds cliche or not really is a gift like these breaths these breaths were breathing here today they're a gift and your life your life's work life's outrageous dream all of that is a gift that you're going to leave behind for this planet that you're going to leave behind for other people to be inspired by you to be lifted by your creative work by your beautiful heart by the light that you share by the love that you share and so every inhale breathe in support to give yourself what you need belly heart exhale let it all go inhale allow inhale expand exhale release it's really all this work is about opening and allowing and letting go and shedding like shedding all of the things that have kept you blocked the things that might have kept you stuck for years for some of us we drag a lot of this stuff around I know I've done it I've lived it I've played the old stories in my head for years it kept me stuck until finally I said I was worth letting go of all of it and it doesn't mean I don't have my bad days I do but more often than not I'm reminded that through the breath I can get back to good one breath at a time and I don't get so caught up in what the overall picture has to look like I connect to the breath I drop in I let it go I let it flow and then I see where it takes me continuing to breathe deeper fuller breaths as you lie here and listen to the music and connect to your breath and trust that I'm holding space right here I'm with you as you breathe bigger fuller deeper connected breaths and letting go of every single thing in your way today one breath at a time remembering this work is just about connecting back to who you are and who you're meant to be so as we lay here for another few breath cycles continuing to stay on point on purpose with every single breath and then I'm gonna guide us into a gentle release however you want to do that whether you want to do it through a yell or through a giggle or whatever comes to you whatever feels organic for you I want to give you the opportunity to do that and we do this release to free some space to let go of some of the stuck energy so if you're in a place where you can do that we'll do that in the next minute or so and whether you just kick out your legs or shake out your hands do something that sort of shifts energy in your body that may be stuck so get ready I'm gonna count you down whatever you do on the other side of this microphone it's okay you're safe it's natural to release emotions so whether it's a yell or a giggle or just shaking out your hands and feet go ahead and do it in three two one let some energy go let it go beautiful beautiful and if you didn't let out a yell or any sound and maybe you were just shaking out your hands and feet that's perfect too this work is about shifting energy releasing anything that's stuck good and now back on the breath for another cycle or two big full belly big full heart exhale let it all go now I'm gonna ask you to just come back to a gentle regular breath pattern inhaling deep into the nose into the belly open up the mouth let everything go beautiful and as you lay here and listen to the music just be if you have tears in your ears you did it right if you don't have tears in your ears you also did it right so just be and then I'll come back and lead us through a closing gratitude for now just be and so now I'm gonna lead you through the final piece of this breath work practice with me today and I ask you to place both hands over that beautiful heart of yours and I want you to step into a moment in your life of complete utter stop you in your tracks type of gratitude the type of gratitude that when you really do stop and think of it it would make you freeze in the moment and so stepping into this moment now whether it's with a person or something that you've experienced in your life that brings you that utter deep gratitude I want you to step into that moment fully and feel it with all of your senses if there's a smell in the air I want you to smell it as you recall this moment if other people are with you what are they saying what are you saying do you hearing in the air and the wind and their voices what are you feeling on your face what's the temperature down to the finest detail in this moment with this other person or if it was a moment in nature or an experience that you had down to the finest details I want you to relive it and really feel it it's not about thinking it's about feeling and take it all in and when you've got it when you've really got that moment I want you to breathe in a big deep full breath into that beautiful heart of yours and let it go and now on top of that memory in that moment let's stack other moments all of the gratitude moments you can remember or recall one on top of the other who are you grateful for who are the people that have touched your life deeply who has impacted you like who's changed the trajectory of your life by just their presence by just showing up and giving you a smile or simply holding out their hand and saying come here I got you let's do this thing when you've been face-planted down on the ground or when you've been stuck with the covers over your head in bed we've all had those moments but who's been the one person that shows up no matter what all of those moments stack them on top of each other one after the other and breathe in some deep breaths of gratitude and finally breathe in some deep gratitude for that beautiful beating heart of yours that heart that's the reason why you might have some tears in your ears right now that heart which is your unique stamp of gratitude on this planet of love on this planet like the way you love is unique to you nobody loves like you do nobody touches another human being like you do nobody connects deep when you decide to really connect nobody does it like you do and so breathe in some gratitude some love for that beautiful heart of yours take it all in and breathe in whatever else you need more self-love more self-forgiveness more kindness more sweet more compassion whatever you need to set the tone for your day to day breathe it in now and to fill yourself back up that's what this work is about it's about filling up and letting go of anything in your way from staying full of love and gratitude and as I close the session today I just want to remind you that we don't come to the breath work to really breathe we come to the breath to connect back to who we are and why we're here so thank you so much for joining me today I hope your day is full of lots and lots of deep connected full breaths and I look forward to seeing you next time in the breath zone
