Being open to receiving all the beautiful,
Joyful,
Loving things life has to offer can be especially difficult if you struggle with trust.
Trusting yourself,
Trusting others,
And trusting what lies ahead is not easy.
If we can push past our fear,
Doubt,
And mistrust,
And tap into feelings of openness and acceptance,
We can create space for deep connection,
Possibility,
And inner freedom.
Today's practice will help you to release what is no longer serving you so you can embrace the open and accepting person you were meant to be.
Before we begin,
Let's take a moment to settle in by finding a comfortable position that honors your body.
When you are ready,
I invite you to gently close your eyes or keep your eyes open with a soft downward gaze.
Let's get centered by taking three deep,
Slow breaths.
Deep breath in and sigh it out.
Breathing in and deep breath in and out.
Return to your natural breath,
Taking a moment to check in with your body.
Getting grounded,
Slowing down,
Looking within,
Noticing any sensations such as tightness,
Tingling,
Relaxing the forehead,
Relaxing the jaw,
Bringing the shoulders down,
Taking a moment to connect with any thoughts or feelings.
And I want you to notice when you think about receiving,
Receiving what you need from yourself or receiving what you need from others.
As you continue to look within,
You can simply listen or silently repeat following affirmations.
I am open to receive.
I am open to receive love and acceptance without hesitation.
I am open to receive guidance as I learn,
Heal.
I am open to receive compassion as I step into new ways of thinking,
Speaking,
And being.
I am open to receive wisdom and insight from those who inspire me.
I am open to receive all the blessings and abundance life has to offer,
To receive praise for the progress I am making.
I am open to receive.
For many of us,
Giving is much easier than receiving,
So for the next few minutes,
Allow yourself to receive anything else that you need in the present moment.
This may be compassion,
Kindness,
Forgiveness,
Love,
Or acceptance.
Whatever you need,
You are worthy of it.
Receive it.
As we begin to move out of our practice,
Keeping your eyes closed or with a soft downward gaze,
I invite you to bring your palms together at your heart.
The attitude of this practice that allows you to slow down and receive all that you need.
Take one more deep inhale through the nose,
Exhale.
Gently release your hands.
When you are ready,
Return back to the room,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Or lift your gaze.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Namaste.
Ashe.
And so it is.
