So take a moment to get comfortable.

Find a room where you can be on your own.

You might want to sit down or stand.

Whatever is more comfortable for you right now.

We'll keep our eyes open for now.

So when you're ready,

Take a moment to notice how your body is touching the chair or the floor.

You may even want to take a look at your feet and move them gently so you can feel how they touch the ground.

You can even imagine that your feet are firmly rooted on the ground like trees.

Now take a look at the room around you by very,

Very slowly moving your head.

Just go with whatever you want to look at right now.

Checking out the room,

Looking to the ceiling,

To the left or to the right.

And just noticing objects or shapes,

Textures,

Colors.

Really noticing what's here in the room with you right now.

As you keep checking out the room,

Keep moving your head really slowly.

Meet your Teacher

Beautiful voice. I soothed some of my anxiety; but much as stayed. I am left with a sweet acceptance of my anxiety, and a recognition of have a lot more '10min of presence' I need to bring to my crisis.

Really relaxing, and different meditation from what I'm used to. Becoming focused and aware of my surroundings helped ease any tension.

For those who dissociate, or feel pain at being embodied, this is a welcome practice. Grounding and releasing. Very helpful.
