This guided release practice is sure to free your soul of any reactivity that stems in unprocessed emotions and emotional wound survival patterns that have kept your anger looping for far too long. Anger needs to be released (in healthy ways) to stop the karmic cycle and feel more at ease in your body. Reactivity can happen quickly, so establishing a go-to practice like this one is imperative to consciously ending the cycle and healing at your core. Anger, in and of itself, is a life energy and should not be buried in the unconscious. It longs to be free. With this practice, you might need to pause the recording from time to time to allow more time for the release to unfold in the timing and manner best for you.

Invoke your spiritual protectors and allies to surround you during this exercise to create a safe container for your anger to release.

You might want to set a limit up front as to the amount of time you stay in this exercise.

Perhaps start with five to 10 minutes and then check in with the wounded part of yourself to see if that is enough for now.

Begin this practice by thinking about whom you have unexpressed anger for.

Who first pops up in your mind?

Allow any thoughts and feelings to rise up into your awareness without judgment.

The goal is to tap into the energy of the anger and release it so it won't keep circulating in your psyche.

Begin to bang your hands into a pillow while thinking about what makes you angry.

Or perhaps bring a sound to the process as you continue to bang your hands into the pillow.

Perhaps it is a grunting noise or simply a vibrational sound.

Whatever feels safe and right for you.

Bring to mind all of the things you wanted to say and didn't and say them out loud now.

You might be thinking,

You were wrong.

It's not my fault,

It's your fault.

You'll never understand.

I'm so mad at you.

You never listened to me.

You make me so angry.

You can't make me do it.

Perhaps take it up a notch to chop the pillow forcefully.

Stay with what is coming up and continue to use your voice.

And now stand up and stomp your feet.

Continuing to use sound or words to release your anger as you stomp it into the ground.

This serves to keep you in your body and ground your energy into the earth.

Stick with the thought train of all the things that make you so mad about this person and sink into the feelings that are arising.

You want your body to tell the truth and not hide your emotions away.

Let the angry part of you talk and release the emotions.

Start to punch your fists in front of you while stomping and releasing the anger from your body.

Shout or say out loud the things your anger longs to say.

Maybe shake your body,

Move it around,

Allow it to move out of your body.

Sometimes as you clear your anger,

It paves the way for tears of sadness and pain to surface to release too.

So lean into whatever feelings arise.

Your heart will greatly benefit.

And when you feel complete,

Give yourself some love,

Perhaps a hug,

And send much gratitude to this courageous part of yourself who's leaning into releasing these emotions so that they don't go round and around and around in your mind anymore.

It frees you.

And don't forget to send gratitude to the beings of light you called in to support you through this process.

And we say thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And so it is.
