Alaffia and welcome to today's meditation practice.
As we are settling in to open up our practice,
There is an invitation in this moment to take a few moments to ensure that your body is resting or supported in whatever position feels most accessible and nourishing for your body in this moment.
As your body comes to land in the position that feels most accessible and nourishing,
There is an invitation to allow yourself to begin to attune to the space around you.
If it's supportive,
You might take a moment and notice familiar objects in your space.
Notice how your body feels in this space.
And take a moment to notice the presence and support of the earth holding you in this space.
As you're settling in and attuning to the space that you're in,
There's an invitation in this moment to allow your gaze to soften and to perhaps fall on something,
Anything in your space.
That feels deeply nourishing and easy to engage with.
Begin to invite your gaze to soften a bit more.
You might even notice if it feels accessible and safe in this moment to close your eyes as you begin to focus your attention inward,
Noticing your breath in your body.
Noticing where the breath feels most present in your body and what the quality of that breath feels like in this moment.
And once you have a sense of your breath in your body,
There's an invitation to take in as many deep breaths and to release as many audible sighs as you need to,
To welcome in fresh life force and fresh breath,
And to release any parts of your day or anything that you feel is present that isn't supportive of today's practice.
Once those breaths have landed in your body,
There's an invitation again to notice your breath and notice if there's been any shift or change in where your breath feels most present and what the quality of that breath feels like in this moment.
And once you feel again connected and attuned to that quality of breath,
That is in your body in this moment,
When you're ready,
There's an invitation to invite your breath and your awareness to travel into the crown of your head,
Inviting the muscles across your scalp to relax as this energy center and space in the body is invited to rest in the support of the breath in all directions.
.
As the space and energy center in the body is invited to connect with the support of the breath,
There's an invitation to notice if each breath can support you in connecting with accessing the power of oneness with all things that exist in this space.
.
Once the space in the physical body and the energy body feels a bit more supported by your breath and your awareness,
There's an invitation to invite your breath and your awareness to travel into your third eye,
Inviting your forehead to soften and relax,
Inviting your gaze to soften if your eyes are open and even if they're closed.
As the space in the physical body and the energy body is invited to connect with the support of the breath in all directions.
.
As the space in the physical body and the energy body is invited to connect with the support of the breath,
There's also an invitation to notice if each breath can support you in accessing connection to clear sight,
Clear vision that lives in this space in the body and the energy body.
.
Once this space in the physical body and the energy body feels a bit more supported by breath,
When you're ready,
There's an invitation to invite your breath and your awareness to drop down lower into the throat,
Inviting the jaw to soften and relax along the way.
As your breath and your awareness moves into the third space,
Inviting this space in the physical body and the energy body to rest in the support of your breath in all directions.
.
As the space in the physical body and the energy body is invited to rest in the support of the breath,
There's an invitation to notice if each breath in this space can support you in accessing and connecting with your true and authentic voice that lives in this space,
The voice that speaks and recognizes truth.
.
Once the space in the physical body and the energy body feels a bit more supported by the breath,
When you're ready,
There's an invitation to invite your breath and your awareness to drop down into the heart space,
Inviting the shoulders to soften and relax onto the back body or support.
As the heart is invited to rest in the support of your breath and awareness in all directions.
.
As the space in the body and the physical body is invited to rest in the support of the breath,
There's an invitation to notice if each breath in this space can support you in connecting and accessing your right to love and be loved by yourself and others.
.
.
As the space is invited to rest in the support of your breath and your awareness,
There's also an invitation to notice if there is an intention or a prayer that feels present in your heart space or one that you want to present in your heart space.
.
You feel the presence of that intention or prayer and feel connected to it.
There's an invitation to invite the support of the breath to enliven that intention or prayer that you're holding.
.
Once the space in the physical body and the energy body feels a bit more supported by the breath,
When you're ready,
There's an invitation to invite your breath and your awareness to drop down into the solar plexus,
Inviting those upper abdominal muscles in the diaphragm to soften.
.
As the space is invited to rest in the support of your breath and your awareness.
.
As the space in the physical body and the energy body is invited to rest in the support of the breath,
There's an invitation to notice if each breath in this space can support you in accessing deeper connection with your right to take action and to access your breath.
.
.
Once the space in the body and the energy body feels more supported by your breath,
There's an invitation,
When you're ready,
To invite your breath and your awareness to travel into the space of your belly.
.
.
As the space in the physical body is invited to rest in the support of your breath and awareness in all directions.
