Instead of pushing anxiety away, this meditation invites kids to get curious about it. With visualization, music and gentle guidance, children step into their own Big Heart Room, a safe space inside where feelings can be understood and befriended. Here, kids learn that it’s okay to feel anxious, and they leave with a real tool for finding calm within themselves. **note there is a quick second of "anxious" music at the beginning of this meditation on purpose to help relate to the feeling. This is a conscious choice to meet feelings where they are at instead of trying to change them. From then on it is very calming/uplifting.
