There is nothing else to be done.

This meditation is of the nature of an appointment with myself.

A quality time that I spend with myself.

Because normally I am very busy playing a variety of roles.

I pass through different situations and every situation invokes from me a self playing a given role.

This meditation is just for being myself when I am not playing any role.

Like a renunciate who ideally does not have to play any role.

At this time I have no responsibility,

No agenda to fulfill,

No commitments to fulfill.

I am just a simple conscious person having no agenda.

No duty,

No responsibility.

At this time I am not father nor mother,

Neither son nor daughter or brother or sister or a friend or a neighbor or husband or wife.

All of them are the different roles that I play depending upon the situation.

Who am I when I am not playing any of these roles?

Each role brings out from me a relative person.

Husband is related to wife.

Wife is related to husband.

A parent is related to the child.

A child is related to a parent.

A brother,

Sister is related to a sibling.

A neighbor,

A friend is related to someone.

Each role brings out from me a relative person.

Who am I when I am not related to anybody?

I am not related to anything.

Not my job,

Not my business,

Not my career,

Not my studies,

Not my money,

My house,

My possessions,

My accomplishments.

Not related to anyone of these things.

Who am I when not related to anything or anyone?

I am a simple conscious person who is playing different roles but who is independent of the roles.

Even a man,

A woman,

A brahma,

Kshatriya,

Vaisya,

Sudra,

Antasya bhaga,

All of these are relative costumes.

There is one person wearing this variety of costumes.

I am that person.

A simple conscious person.

Even man and woman,

They are also while relating to the body.

Happy or unhappy.

And also when relating with the mind.

Successful,

Not successful,

Relating with the intellect,

With the ego.

These are all judgments or opinions about me in relation to something.

It is the nature of my mind to constantly brand myself.

Sometimes I brand myself as happy,

Sometimes unhappy,

Sometimes successful,

Sometimes not successful,

Sometimes great,

Sometimes not great.

All of these are the steps that I put on myself.

Without any of these judgments,

Without any of this branding,

Without any of these steps,

I am a simple conscious person possessing a body.

The body I am not.

I am the possessor of the body.

Because I am aware of my body.

I am aware of the hands,

The legs,

The head,

The trunk.

I am aware of every organ,

Every limb,

Every cell of the body.

The aware is different from the object of awareness.

Body is object of my awareness.

Just as my neighbor's body is an object of my awareness,

So is my body an object of my awareness.

I am the awarer of the body.

I am not the body.

And therefore,

I do not have to judge myself based on the body.

The man,

Woman,

Tall,

Short,

Fair,

Dark,

Lean,

Not lean.

All of these are the characteristics of the body.

I am aware of these characteristics.

I am a simple,

Awareful,

Conscious being.

I am even aware of the thoughts in my mind.

The thoughts come and go.

I do not make any attempt to stop the thoughts.

I do not react to any thoughts.

Just as when I am standing on the bank of a river,

The water flows.

I am the witness of the flow of water.

So also,

The river of thoughts flows.

I am aware of my thoughts.

It does not matter what the thoughts are.

Usually,

I brand myself.

Whether thoughts are good,

I call myself good.

If the thoughts are not good,

I brand myself not good.

I am aware of the thoughts.

Thoughts come and go.

I am where I am,

A simple,

Awareful,

Conscious person.

Thus,

It is an appointment with myself,

Spending quality time with myself.

And I have no other agenda,

No roles to play,

No commitments to fulfill,

No demands to meet.

As Adi Shankaracharya says,

All these are different kinds of thoughts that I am not.

The faculty of hearing,

I am not.

The faculty of taste,

I am not.

The faculty of smell,

I am not.

The faculty of seeing,

I am not.

The faculty of touch,

I am not.

Even the five elements,

The home of the space,

The home of the earth,

The fire of the light,

The fire of the air,

And fire,

And water,

These elements I am not.

My body made of these elements I am not.

Then who am I?

Srimanandirabha,

Srimuhum,

Srimuhum.

It's the consciousness,

The limitless consciousness.

Ananda,

The limitlessness,

Boundlessness,

Sivoham,

The auspicious,

The pure,

The sacred.

Srimanandirabha,

Srimuhum,

Sivoham,

Srimanandirabha,

Sivoham,

Sivoham.

I am Shiva,

The auspicious,

The silent,

The tranquil,

The joyful.

In spite of the limitations of the body,

In spite of the limitations of the mind,

In spite of the limitations of the ego,

All of these belong to the personality.

I am the person,

Aware of them,

Illuminated of them.

In the person,

There is not even the sense of individuality.

I am not individual person.

I am the very consciousness.

Srimanandirabha,

Sivoham,

Sivoham.

Unrelated to anybody,

Unrelated to anything,

Abiding in my own fullness,

Abiding in the limitlessness that I am.

I am the very silent,

Boundless consciousness.

Srimanandirabha,

Sivoham,

Sivoham.

Sivoham,

Sivoham.

Srimanandirabha,

Sivoham,

Sivoham.

Srimanandirabha,

Sivoham.

Srimanandirabha,

Srimanandirabha,

Srimanandirabha,
