Is a limited being.

I am alright.
Just as a wave feels separated from other waves,
Suffers from a sense of limitation.
So also I,
The ego,
The Jiva,
Feels separated from everyone else,
Suffers from a sense of smallness.
But when the wave realizes that its essential nature is water,
When water is identified,
Is judging itself on the basis of a form or a name,
Then the water thinks it is a wave,
Different from other waves,
Different from ocean.
And the wave is trying to become ocean.
What is necessary is to shift the identification from the form to the content,
Which is water.
So also,
As long as I judge myself on the basis of the body,
On the basis of the mind,
So long I am a limited entity,
Regardless of what I do,
I can never become free from sense of limitation,
As long as I identify with the body,
With the mind.
I equate myself to the body-mind,
So long I can never be free from sense of limitation.
I am not Jiva,
I am not ego,
I am not individual self.
Like a wave whose content is water,
So also the content of I,
The conscious being,
Is consciousness.
Consciousness I am,
When I shift my identification from form to content,
From an individual,
Then I think I am having a name,
Having a form,
Having various attributes.
So long I am a limited being,
Or I think I am a limited being.
But what is manifesting through this body-mind complex is the true nature of myself,
That is consciousness,
Existence,
Fullness.
Nāhāmasmi sadābhāmi kalājñām apriyāt That I always am,
That I is self revealing,
And that it is always there.
This fact about myself cannot be denied,
And that is the important characteristic of myself.
This body is just a place of functioning,
The organs of action,
Organs of perception,
Are merely the means of communication.
The mind is a means of knowing and feeling and thinking.
Even the ego is also an assaulting entity.
The content of ego is nothing but consciousness.
I am the consciousness in presence of which this hearing is taking place.
I am not even a hearer.
The hearing of these words takes place in my presence.
I am just the presence,
The conscious presence,
Without any attributes.
The hearing takes place in my presence.
I am not even a hearer.
I am the consciousness in presence of whom the hearing takes place.
I am not even a thinker.
I am the conscious presence in whose presence thinking takes place.
I simply abide in my own glory,
Which is consciousness,
Which is boundlessness,
Because I,
The consciousness,
Is not confined to this body.
Everything is in consciousness.
The consciousness is all-pervasive.
Even space is in consciousness.
Time is in consciousness.
Whatever is,
Is in consciousness.
The formless,
Attributeless,
Boundless consciousness,
I am.
I am conscious of the body.
The body is the object of consciousness.
I am conscious of mind.
Mind is also eliminated by consciousness.
The body is eliminated by consciousness.
The mind is eliminated by consciousness.
Everything is eliminated by consciousness.
Like the sun,
In its mere presence,
Everything is eliminated.
So also,
In the mere presence of I,
Everything is shining,
Everything is eliminated.
I am not even the illuminator.
I am not even a witness.
Even the role of witness also is given up,
When all roles are given up.
Hearer is a role.
Listener is a role.
Thinker is a role.
Witness is a role.
Illuminator is a role.
I let go all the roles.
Roles are because I am.
I am not because of roles.
Roles are because I am.

Self existing,
Self sufficient consciousness,
I am.
