Giving up resistance to whatever it is that the Lord does.
He is the Creator.
He is the Ordainer.
He is manifest as the universe around me.
He is manifest as the various laws and realities.
He is manifest as the Order.
Namaha means recognizing this Order.
Recognizing the realities of life.
And gracefully accepting them.
Giving up the resistance.
And gracefully accepting them.
The graceful acceptance comes from the Shradha,
The trust that the Lord is always benevolent.
That the Order is benevolent.
At the fundamental level there is benevolence,
Kindness,
A trust.
Namaha,
Surrendering to the Lord.
On account of the trust that whatever is has a reason to be.
Whatever happens has a message for me,
Is meant for my growth.
That I am not alone in my life.
That Ishvara is always with me.
And even though situations may appear to be unfavourable,
The situations may appear to be painful.
In that also there is an intention to help me grow.
When this implicit fate or trust is there,
Then there is graceful acceptance.
Then there is no resistance,
No rejection.
Namaha,
My salutations to Ishvara.
In the form of the benevolent Order.
Which Order is my well-wisher.
When there is the spirit of Namaha,
Of letting go of my resistance,
Letting go of my rejection.
Then the mind is at peace with the world around me.
At peace with the happenings around me.
That is the outcome,
The reward of Namaha.
Of salutation,
Of letting go of the graceful acceptance of Ishvara.
Of a graceful acceptance and trust.
That whatever Ishvara does,
His infinite wisdom is in order.
Namaha,
Letting go of the resistance.
At the personal level,
Namaha also means letting go of the resistance about myself.
A graceful acceptance of myself,
Of my body.
I gracefully accept my body,
Male or female,
Young or old,
Strong or weak,
Fat or lean.
It is a gift,
I gracefully accept it,
Without complaint,
Without resistance,
Without blaming anybody.
In Namaha,
In surrender,
There is freedom from blaming others or blaming myself.
I accept my mind also gracefully.
Mind also is a wonderful gift with its many capacities.
There is no doubt there are limitations in the mind also.
Just as there are limitations in the body.
But that is the nature of things.
Whatever is,
Has many virtues and many limitations also.
That my body is limited in capacities,
That my mind is limited in capacities,
Is a reality of life.
I gracefully accept them as gift of each other.
When I gracefully accept,
I can enjoy them as they are,
Without placing undue demands.
With an appreciation of the beauty of the body and the mind.
Namaha,
Salutation,
Graceful acceptance of myself,
Of the past,
Present and future.
Whatever was,
Was in order.
Whatever is,
Is in order.
Whatever will be,
Will also be in order.
Accepting my past,
My present,
My future,
All as a gift.
Recognizing that all capacities,
All limitations,
All achievements and lack of achievement,
All of that belongs to my personality,
To the name and form.
Every name and form is meant to be different.
Every name and form is unique.
And therefore,
I gracefully accept the name and form that I have.
It is a great gift,
With its capacities and limitations.
Upeksha Namru Peddvi Satchitananda Dattparah Being indifferent to the name and form and being focused or intent upon satchitananda,
Which is my nature.
Being indifferent,
One way of being indifferent is graceful acceptance.
Graceful acceptance of the world around me,
So that there is no resistance,
No reaction.
And graceful acceptance of myself,
Of my body,
My mind,
My life,
My past,
Present,
Future.
That everything is in order,
Everything is beautiful as it is.
When thus,
There is no complaint,
No blaming,
No resistance,
Then the mind is at peace.
Call it upeksha being indifferent or call it namah,
Surrender.
When thus,
There is overall graceful acceptance,
A respect,
A reverence for whatever is,
Including myself.
Then my mind is at peace,
Because it is free from resistance,
Free from complaints,
Free from blaming.
Upeksha Namru Peddvi Thus,
Being indifferent to or gracefully accepting the name and form,
My personality and the world around me.
The mind that enjoys peace with the world around and peace with itself.
That mind is ready to appreciate the fact that my true nature is asthi,
Bhadi,
Bhriyam.
That is an undeniable fact about me,
Regardless of how the world is,
Regardless of what my personality is.
The person that I am,
The conscious being that I am,
The inherent nature of myself,
The abiding reality of myself,
Is that I am.
Whatever be the name and form,
Whatever be the body,
The mind,
Past,
Present,
Future,
The fact that I am,
Ever remains,
Ever persists.
That I am is the reality about myself.
Man or woman,
Tall or short,
Husband or wife,
Father or mother,
Son or daughter,
Brother or sister,
All of these are attributes of name and form.
They are all incidental.
They are all subject to change.
They are whatever they are.
They do not affect the fact that I am.
To me is my nature.
And that I am is self-revealing.
The existence that I am is self-revealing.
I must be salabhami.
I always shine.
Kadachan naham apriya.
I never dislike my true self,
Even though I may find myself sometimes not liking my body or mind or something.
All of that is at the level of name and form.
That does not change the fact that I always love to be.
I always love to be conscious.
I always love to exist.
The love to me and the love to be conscious is nature.
Love for the self is nature.
Asthi Mahadi Priyam.
That is my abiding nature.
Everything else,
Adhama pairah.
Everything else comes and goes.
Everything else is subject to change.
Like an actor changing the costumes.
But just as in all various costumes,
The actor is unchanging.
And so also,
Among the constantly changing worlds,
Constantly changing the body,
Constantly changing the mind,
That I am conscious,
That I love myself,
Never changes.
That is the inherent abiding reality about myself.
And hence,
I am Sat Chit Ananda.
I am Brahman.
That is Sat Chit Ananda.
That is all that counts.
That is all that is important.
Nothing else matters.
The name and form,
The personality,
The body and mind,
The world around me.
All of that cannot change the fact that I am Sat Chit Ananda.
Asanghooham.
Asanghooham.
Asanghooham.
Poona,
Poona.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
Ahami wahamaya.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
Ahami wahamaya.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
Ahami wahamaya.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
I am the nature of Sat Chit Ananda,
Aware,
Undecaying,
Imperishable,
Even the same,
Eternal.
Asanghooham.
I am unconnected to the costume,
To the name and form.
Untainted,
Unaffected.
Even the same,
Even complete,
Even free.
Asanghooham.
Asanghooham.
Asanghooham.
Poona,
Poona.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
Ahami wahamaya.
Sat Chit Ananda rooham.
Ahami wahamaya.
Ahami wahamaya.
Recognizing this fact that Asthi Bhahate Priyam,
Sat Chit Ananda is my nature.
That is the ultimate namah,
Ultimate salutation.
That what is the nature of Ishwar is indeed my nature.
That is the ultimate salutation,
Ultimate surrender.
That is the ultimate namah.
Poona mother,
Poona milam.
Poona,
Poona mudachare.
Poonasya poonamadaya.
Poonameva vashishate.
Vahishwade.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.

These meditations are a beautiful and nearly perfect blend of Vedanta with elements of bhakti (devotion, love and Trust in Ishwara). I start most days with this Swamiji's meditations, and enjoy them deeply.

Thank you Swamiji. Surrender, non-resistence, acceptance of oneself and the universe leads to a quiet mind in which one can appreciate one's intrinsic nature to be satcitananda. Pranams
