This is an appointment with myself.

A quality time that I spend with myself.

When all other tasks,

All other agenda is suspended.

In fact,

There does not have to be any agenda at all.

In as much as I have to do something or I cannot do something,

This kind of agenda is not there.

This is not how it should be.

For the simple reason that the purpose behind all the agenda,

Purpose behind all the desires,

Purpose behind all duties,

Purpose behind all ambitions is ultimately to be with myself.

That is all I am seeking in life,

To be with myself.

Even when I desire to be with something else or with someone else,

The desire,

Behind the desire is only to be with myself.

In all my pursuits,

I am chasing my own reflection.

It makes sense that I directly,

I make an effort to be with myself directly.

Recognition of this fact that throughout my life I have always been searching for my own self,

Not realizing that the happiness,

The freedom,

The satisfaction,

The success that I want in my life is in fact my own self.

And it is the attainment of what is already attained.

Never let it become clear to the mind that,

Oh mind,

Do not run after other things,

Do not be partial to someone,

Do not be cruel to someone else.

Oh mind,

May you give up attachment as well as aversion because through the fulfillment of attachments and aversions,

Through the fulfillment of raga and dvisha,

You have always been looking for your own self.

Hence,

Rather than looking at your reflections,

May you directly look at yourself.

You are not what you take yourself to be.

Oh mind,

Recognize that you are not what you take yourself to be.

You are not just a human being confined to this body.

You are not a limited being.

In fact,

You are not even a needy being.

Your true nature is that you are free from all the needs.

You are a satisfaction.

You are the happiness that is your nature.

It is a matter of recognizing that,

A matter of seeing the fact about yourself.

There is no need for becoming,

No need for seeking,

No need for achieving.

For all those pursuits,

What you are seeking to be is your own self.

In this mortal body,

You the immortal is manifest.

In this limited body,

You the limitless is manifesting.

Do not equate yourself with the body.

Do not equate yourself with the mind.

Do not equate yourself with your capacities.

Do not equate yourself with success and failures.

They all belong to the personality.

They all belong to the body-mind complex.

You are the person untouched by,

Untouched by,

The limitations of the personality.

You are free in spite of all the limitations of the body and the mind.

Oh mind,

Do not worry about the limitations of the body,

Limitations of the mind,

Limitations of the intellect.

Do not judge yourself on the basis of these limitations.

The body-mind are meant to be limited.

They are the means to know the limitless,

That capacity the mind has.

Even though the mind itself is limited,

It has the capacity to see this fact that I the self is limitless.

I am whole.

I am complete.

The silence is my nature.

And therefore,

Let the world be what it is.

Let the people around be what they are.

Give them the freedom to be what they are.

Bless them.

Because in spite of the world being what it is,

In spite of the surroundings being what they are,

I am still free,

Mindless,

Consciousness.

No happenings,

No situations can alter that fact that I am ever free by nature.

Because I am not the body,

I am not the mind.

They are the objects of awareness.

I am the subject.

I am the very awareness.

I shine in my own awareness and by mere presence,

I live in everything.

Just as the sun shines and by its mere presence,

It limits everything,

So also I shine as consciousness,

As a very presence and eliminate everything by my presence.

No deity,

Naas tamet ye sha,

Ye sha chiti,

This consciousness that I am,

The self-evident consciousness that I am,

Naa ule di,

Has no birth,

Has no beginning,

Naa as tamet di,

Has no death,

Has no end.

I the consciousness is the illuminator of all births and deaths,

Of beginnings and ends,

Of growth and decay,

The changeless illuminator of all the changes.

I am not opposed to any thoughts.

The thoughts arise and subside.

It does not matter what the thoughts are.

I am the illuminator of thoughts,

Unopposed to the thoughts.

Chidanandrooha Shivoha Shivoha Shivoha Shivoha Chidanandrooha Shivoha Shivoha Shivoha Shivoha Shivoha The appointment with myself is just to be myself.

When all the efforts are dropped,

The effort of becoming something,

Effort of knowing something,

Effort of feeling something,

Effort of experiencing something,

When all the efforts are dropped,

Because no effort is needed to be,

No effort is needed to shine this consciousness,

No effort is needed to be boundless.

That is my nature.

No effort is involved in being the natural self that I am.

There is no tension,

No stress.

The mind is completely relaxed in recognition of the fact that to me,

To shine,

To be whole is my nature.
