A mindful moment.
To be fully present for this mindful moment practice I invite you now to turn off your cell phone,
Get comfortable and together let's practice a mindful moment with a few minutes of mindful breathing.
Begin now by sitting comfortably and closing your eyes,
Making any adjustments to your body as you begin to settle,
Sitting still,
Relaxing and softening.
Notice now where your hands are,
Allow them to rest lightly on your lap,
Noticing your feet.
Allow your feet to rest lightly on the floor uncrossed and notice the feeling of sitting.
Simply notice and become aware of these sensations without resisting them.
Notice and welcome the different sounds that become apparent to you,
Noticing the sounds far away,
Noticing the sounds that are nearby.
Now bring your attention to your breath and notice how your breath occurs naturally as you breathe naturally through your nose.
Notice any movement in your body in response to your breath.
Without trying to control or regulate your breath simply allow it and feel its sensations.
Notice the breath may be fast or slow.
Notice if your breath is warm or cool and however you experience your breath simply observe it.
Continuing to observe like this for the next few breaths I'll watch the time and you'll hear the chime when one minute is over.
You you As we come to the end of the practice let's release it now.
Sitting gently maintaining the eyes closed for a few more moments.
Let's take a long slow deep breath in together to release the practice.
Breathing in through your nose,
Filling up your lungs,
Filling your belly.
Pause at the top of the inhale and as you exhale begin to open your eyes.
Pausing for one more moment to feel the sensations in your body now.
It will help to improve your concentration,
Your learning ability and your memory.
It'll increase your efficiency throughout your day enhancing your relationships and how you communicate.
You'll see an overall improvement in your work-life satisfaction,
An improvement in clarity and making decisions.
It'll enhance your ability to communicate clearly and nurture your imagination with an overall improvement of your mental health.
Remember mindfulness is simply being present on purpose without judgment.
Thanks for joining me today.
