Hello and welcome to this guided session.
This meditation will help you relax into the silence with sound as an anchor.
There is a misunderstanding that we need to control the mind by fighting thoughts.
When we fight thoughts,
They only get more aggressive.
What we resist,
Persists.
The simpler and gentler way is to move our attention to an anchor which is rooted in the now,
Like the sense of hearing.
In a while,
You will hear the sound of a bell.
Become aware of the sound of the bell and place all your awareness on hearing.
As your awareness is on hearing,
You are naturally in the now as hearing can happen only in the now.
When the sound ends,
Be aware of the beautiful silence.
Remember,
Silence is not empty.
It is full of grace and full of divine presence.
Be still and know God.
Throughout the meditation,
Keep your awareness on hearing and the silence at the end of the sound.
