Heart-Based Grounding Practice This is a short heart-based grounding practice that can be done at any time during the day.
It will help you relax and return to your day with renewed energy.
I feel that meditation and all such spiritual practices are an act of love towards ourselves.
Please value yourself and return to these acts of love as much as possible.
Let us begin the practice.
Become aware of your breath.
Allow yourself to soften and relax.
Place one of your hands at the center of the chest.
Keep your eyes open.
Keeping your eyes open helps in not following the thoughts that arise.
Breathe in softly.
Breathe out softly.
Notice the movement of the in-breath.
Notice the movement of the out-breath.
Also notice the stillness between the in- and the out-breath.
You can place your hand down.
Now look to the left and watch the space between you and the wall or any other surface that is present in your environment.
Watch the space.
Notice the space.
Soften your glance,
Soften your eyes and notice the space.
Now turn to the right and watch the space between you and the wall or any other surface that is present in your environment.
Simply notice space.
Now notice all the space that is there in your environment.
Turn around.
Notice all the colors that are there in your environment.
Notice the light in your environment.
If darkness is predominant,
You can notice the darkness.
Simply notice.
Notice light or notice darkness,
Whatever is present right now.
Now place your hands on your cheeks.
Notice the sensations of the hands on the cheeks.
As you're noticing the sensations,
Again become aware of the breath and allow yourself to breathe slowly and deeply.
Notice that as you place your hands on the face,
You soften and relax as you notice the sensations you are in the now.
You can place your hands down.
Again looking around,
Looking at the environment.
Know that everything is fine.
Now you can also notice the silence.
Even if there are sounds,
Notice the silence between sounds,
Around sounds.
This short practice grounds you in the aliveness,
Peace and ease of the now.
The now is always here,
Wanting to hold you,
Wanting to embrace you.
Lots of love,
Dear one.
Namaste.
