Be still and know God. This is a very profound statement. The silence and stillness of God is omnipresent. All we need to do is look for it and value it. In this meditation, you will be guided to be aware of the silence between thoughts. In the Heart based approach, we always sink into the Truth rather than fighting the false, we reach for the light rather than fighting the darkness. As you do the meditation regularly, you will realize that you are prior to thoughs and have the power to drop it.

Hello and welcome to this guided session.

This guided meditation will help you find peace when you are stuck with overthinking.

Thoughts are a phenomena that arise and subside.

The nature of thoughts is sometimes positive and many times negative.

Often thoughts,

When believed in,

Cause stress and suffering.

Thoughts keep us stuck in the past or future and veil the beauty and power of the now.

In this meditation,

You will be guided to the recognition that you are not your thoughts,

But you are the awareness in which thoughts arise and subside.

You will recognize that you are the knower or the seer of thoughts and you do have a choice to not engage and remain as the silent witness.

Now close your eyes.

You will notice that thoughts arise without any volition or intention.

Now begin to observe that there is a silence,

Space or gap between thoughts.

It does not matter how small or large the duration of the silence is.

Simply observe the silence.

Be alert and aware and notice the silence between thoughts.

Observe the silence between thoughts.

For the duration of this meditation,

Disregard every single thought.

Give all your attention and value to the silence between thoughts.

If you unconsciously get engaged in thought,

It is fine.

Simply return to the silence.

I will remind you periodically.

Remember,

Silence is divine.

Silence is filled with peace and power.

So continue to observe the silence between thoughts,

The stillness between thoughts,

The space between thoughts.

Rup Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be alert and aware and yet relaxed and observe the silence,

The stillness for the space between thoughts.

Do not make any effort to hold on to that silence.

Be very relaxed.

If you get engaged in thought,

It is totally okay.

Do not fight that tendency.

Simply return your awareness to the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the gap between two thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between two thoughts.

Notice that when you are aware of the silence,

You feel so relaxed,

So calm.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the silence between thoughts.

Be aware of the gap between two thoughts.

Thank you and I wish you many blessings.

Namaste.

Actually, this was perfect for sitting alongside a fire burning it’s last embers in my firepit, outside on a well appreciated cool evening, amidst some very hot temps. As Always, Thank You πŸ™

Susitha, thank you! This is a great meditation. I still find it difficult to do a 30 min of silent sitting. This meditation will be my stepping stone towards a less guided silence. Namaste πŸ™
