Hello and welcome to this guided session.
This session is on kindness.
The ego mind is very fickle.
Sometimes there is self-praise and other times there is criticism.
If there are many unhealed wounds around love,
The criticism is more frequent and harsh.
The ego mind is quick to jump to conclusions,
Quick to praise,
Quick to criticize.
This audio will help you ignore the critical and judgmental voice of the ego and move to an energy of love and kindness.
Place one of your hands at the center of the chest and feel the sensation of the hand on the chest.
Stay with the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
Do not be quick to move into the answer.
The question is potent.
The question opens your heart.
Can I be kind to myself?
These are important words.
When you make a mistake and thoughts are telling you how you should have been more careful,
How you could have done things better,
Stop,
Pause,
Place your hand on the chest and stay with the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
When the mind is comparing you with another and being harsh,
Stop,
Pause,
Place your hand on the chest and stay with the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
When you look into the mirror and criticism about your form or the way you look arises,
Stop,
Pause,
Place your hand on the chest and stay with the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
When someone is unkind to you,
Instead of wondering,
Is it my fault?
Stop,
Pause,
Place your hand on the center of the chest and stay with the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
It doesn't matter what the person thought,
What the intention was,
Can I be kind to myself?
When regret about the past comes up,
Realize that the past is over,
It has no power over you.
The regret and blame around the past keep you tied to the past.
Let it go.
You did the best you could at that point of time.
When thoughts of the past attack you,
Instead of believing the thoughts,
Place your hand on the chest and stay with the question,
Can I let the past go?
Can I be kind to myself?
Whenever the ego voice arises,
Blaming you,
Judging you,
Criticizing you,
Comparing you,
Please pause and ask yourself the question,
Can I be kind to myself?
A conditioning tells us that criticism and harshness is needed to transform life.
However,
The truth is,
It is love and kindness that transforms our life.
Please do not follow the thoughts of the ego.
Please learn to be kind to yourself.
It is an irony that often we do not love ourselves and are very harsh on ourselves,
But we expect others to be kind to us.
We expect others to love us.
There are two aspects of self-love which I found very important.
One,
We were not born with lack of love.
Lack of love is acquired through painful memories from the past and it can be healed.
I can say this as I have experienced lack of love and after my healing,
I now feel whole and complete.
I share this to encourage you to work on your healing.
The second aspect of self-love is feeling oneness with the divine parent and reclaiming the love that has been veiled.
Infants are connected to the divine and devoid of the ego mind.
This is the reason we feel the love when we are around an infant.
The reconnection with the love of the divine parent has an impact on all other relationships as it is the primordial and most important relationship.
My audio,
Self-Love,
Self-Worth and Divine Love covers one aspect of divine love in it.
I hope you found this audio helpful.
Love and blessings.
Thank you.
