In the Flow by Susie McWilliam.

This meditation is designed to support you on the days when you feel resistance,

Stress or overwhelmed building.

Equally you can use it to align even more deeply into a place of surrender and faith.

Close your eyes.

Allow yourself to find a comfortable position.

This can be seated or lying down.

Then let's begin by placing one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart.

Beginning to breathe with the eyes closed.

Tune in,

Be and allow.

Breathing slowly,

Deeply.

Tune in,

Be and allow.

Tune in,

Be and allow.

Breathing deeply,

Slowly.

Allowing the mind to slow,

To move into a state of flow and ease as I guide you on a beautiful journey.

The waves move slowly and cautiously up the sand after the turbulent night before.

Gently and calmly they travel in and out.

You sit on a small sand dune,

Breathing in the sea air.

A sense of calm surrounds you.

You see the seaweed shells and drift wood washed up by the storm the night previous.

And you think to yourself how quickly nature shifts from wild to serene.

Yet both equally beautiful and powerful in its own way.

You feel the gentle breeze on your skin and see the sparkle of the sunlight glisten on the ocean.

You breathe deeply.

As you exhale tears begin to fall down your cheeks.

The build-up of life responsibilities,

The chaos of your own days and your own internal storms leave you with every exhale.

You breathe.

You allow.

No one there to hide from,

Just you,

The ocean and your beating heart.

You feel held by the hard sand you sit on,

Your feet touching the sandy ground.

You feel connected.

Every inhale now taking in strength.

A sense that your future is mapped out with nothing to fear.

Exhale feeling the final release.

The body's tension dissipates and softens.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

You close your eyes and connect with the sound of the waves.

You hear gulls flying overhead.

You feel calm,

Free and connected.

You feel part of nature,

Part of the whole.

You feel yourself.

From the space of serenity you recognize that much of the worries and heaviness come from your own internal response.

The unkind words you utter to yourself.

The pressure you place on yourself to support and please others.

Your desire to always give your best,

To do more,

To be more.

But what if you were enough now,

As you are,

In the flow?

With that hand on your heart and one on your belly you breathe.

Allow that sea air to remove resistance,

To release the expectations.

The inhale filling you with the knowledge that you are perfect as you are,

Connected to the flow.

Now whether the sky is stormy or still you can connect with your heart,

Connect with your breath and thus connect with your soul,

Your essence,

Your true you.

Listen to her.

She is there for you.

She knows the way.

Again breathing.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

We're slowly gonna guide by you back to the present moment feeling calm,

Grounded and ready.

You are perfect as you are,

Connected and whole.

Breathing,

Bringing in gentle movements,

Stretching,

Yawning,

Welcoming yourself back.

Wishing you so much love.

Tune in.

Be.

Allow.

Namaste
