Meditation for Alignment and Connecting to our True Purpose by Susie McWilliam.

This meditation is designed to support you in connecting to what truly matters for you.

When we connect to what truly matters,

We can begin to make changes and create a life that supports us in living a divine purpose.

Each and every one of us deserves to live a life that feels aligned and sacred.

And by sacred,

That means a life that is purposeful,

That has meaning and is personal to you.

Making yourself comfortable,

Maybe sitting on the floor or your bed,

And just allowing the floor to support you.

Gently closing your beautiful eyes and stepping into the space just for you.

Taking a big,

Deep breath in through the nose,

Feeling the heart expand and open,

And slowly exhaling and releasing.

Again,

Breathing in fully,

Feeling that heart open,

Feel a softness and expansion.

And exhale and let that breath flow from your body.

And just being with this gentle,

Soothing breath,

Expanding,

Opening,

Exhaling,

Relaxing,

Releasing.

Enjoying this moment,

Begin to recognize that each and every moment is sacred.

That within each and every moment,

We have a choice,

A chance to decide if we are following the right path,

Or a path that's designed for someone else.

As we move through this meditation,

I want you to connect with those moments of joy,

Of flow,

Of contentment.

Starting with a gentle scan of your body,

Starting at the top of your head.

And just acknowledging as you work through this meditation,

The top of your head.

And just acknowledging as you work down through the body,

Any areas of inflexibility,

Of tightness,

Stiffness,

Unstuckness.

Often our bodies are a reflection of whether we are living our lives in alignment.

If we're connected to our true purpose.

So scanning down through the shoulders,

The back,

Maintaining that connected heart opening breath.

Noticing any tightness in the back,

The ribs,

The tummy,

The hips,

The legs,

The toes.

Just breathing and recognize as you're working through,

Just checking in with yourself.

If there's any areas you feel stuck or tight.

Moving your mind now to your thoughts this time.

Taking your breath up to your third eye,

Just between your eyebrows in the center of your forehead.

And I want,

As you breathe in,

To visualize drawing the breath and energy in through this space.

Checking in with the thoughts,

The mind,

The body,

The head,

The ribs,

The toes,

The back,

The mind.

How are your thoughts currently?

Do they feel calm or do they feel chaotic?

Are they inspired or unmotivated?

All of these are indications as to your alignment.

Breathing in and out through the third eye,

Connecting to that place of intuition and trust and connection.

Just pausing,

Taking a few breaths here.

Releasing the breath now from the third eye,

Allowing your breath to drop into its natural rhythm and flow.

Maybe even considering breathing in and out through the whole body.

So you're drawing the breath in through the skin,

Through the cells,

Into your body,

And as you exhale,

You release and allow that energy to flow back out.

Taking a few breaths in this nourishing way.

Taking a few breaths in this nourishing way.

Allowing yourself this sacred moment,

You connected to your breath,

To your body.

Then I want you to take a moment to consider your life,

To consider your dreams,

To consider your hopes,

To notice if there's any areas in your life you feel stuck.

Any ideas and areas in your life that feels disjointed?

And what about those areas that feel in flow,

That runs so smoothly,

That just move with ease?

Pay attention to these moments of ease,

Of flow.

What are you doing in these moments?

Pausing when you feel that sense of ease and flow to connect and reflect.

When we live our life as if it's sacred,

As each day is purposeful and intentional,

We can begin to create a life that feels aligned,

To connect with what's important for ourselves,

And to release all that is helping us to stay stuck.

What if with each moment in your life you chose for it to be?

What if you decided every day was a miracle?

Every breath you took you were grateful for.

Every moment of flow and ease and joy you celebrated,

You relished,

You paused to dream.

Every moment of flow and ease and joy you celebrated,

You relished,

You paused to truly be in that moment.

How would that look?

I want you to take a moment to dream,

To create,

To release.

Let's pause and reflect on our life as it currently stands,

And acknowledge any areas that we feel stuck.

Can you seek support or make changes?

Can you release all that is heavy and is holding you back?

It's time to let go of what feels sticky and tight and stuck.

It's time to step forward to allow yourself to move like the trickling water of a stream.

Moving through life gently,

Flowing,

Navigating bumps,

Yet always moving,

Fluid,

Free.

Yet always moving,

Fluid,

Free,

Flexible and strong.

So acknowledging the difficulties,

Yet recognising that we always have a chance and a choice to change.

So today and every day as you move forward,

Give thanks for the breath you breathe.

The air you feel on your skin and the heart that is beating in your chest.

Start each day as if it's a miracle.

Create a day that is beautiful and is personal to you.

Because our purpose doesn't have to be a huge lofty dream or goal.

Our purpose can be to move through life with flow and ease and joy and contentment and happiness.

That is the life of a purposeful being.

Connecting back with your breath.

Breathing in and out through the heart space.

Placing your palms over your heart.

Placing your palms over your heart and making a promise to yourself that you will make decisions based from the space of love and compassion and what is right and feels good and honest and true to you.

This is your miraculous beautiful life.

It's time to lead from a place of alignment,

A place of purpose and intention.

A place where every day is sacred and every decision is conscious.

For you deserve all of this and more.

Breathing in and out through the heart.

Relaxing the hands down by the side,

Breathing again with the whole body.

The whole body breathing now,

Awakening each and every cell,

Bone,

Muscle.

Smiling,

Giving thanks.

Ready to create a life that is purposeful and as beautiful as are you.
