If you’re short on time, but want to commit to a regular practice, this meditation can help. It includes three parts: a gratitude activation, a mindfulness workout and a “divine download” section; all designed to set you up for a great day. Studies have found that even 10 minutes of regular practice can lower stress, improve focus, enhance sleep, reduce anxiety and depression and support overall resilience and wellbeing. Transcript

Welcome to a new day and a new invitation to awaken to more of your true nature and embody your oneness with Source.

Let's begin with a centering breath,

Closing your eyes to turn within and signaling your nervous system that this is sacred time for you.

Notice how you are beginning this session.

Notice the sensations and thoughts moving through as you settle.

And now turning your attention to something you feel grateful for.

It can be very small.

Simply name it to yourself.

And if you can find one thing that sparks gratitude,

Perhaps you can find another.

And another.

Allow gratitude to expand in your awareness.

Gratitude helps us become more and more available to Source energy,

Flowing not only through our bodies but also through our lives,

So we simply take a moment to practice feeling grateful for the joy of it.

And you might notice a feeling of an inner smile that could softly lift the corners of your mouth.

And as you activate a field of consciousness steeped in gratitude,

Allow this feeling to flood your heart space and extend throughout your whole body.

Lifting your frequency to create greater ease and spaciousness for your practice.

And now flexing our attention like a muscle,

Let's train the ability to call our mind back from distraction and place our focus where we choose.

Letting your intention be to awaken to an embodied experience of your true nature,

Your essence,

Your light.

And with that intention in place,

Allow your focus to land on the movement of your breath.

Just noticing the sensation of your belly expanding and relaxing with each inhale and exhale.

And should your mind wander and your thoughts drift,

As they naturally will,

Simply notice without judgment and with patience and compassion,

Retrain your attention to your breath.

Notice if your thoughts have drifted,

And if they have,

Gently guide your attention back to the anchor of your breath.

Good job.

And now for the last part of our meditation,

Place your hands with palms turned upwards as a gesture of receptivity to welcome divine downloads that are yours to catch for this day.

These may come as a feeling,

An image,

A thought.

Just welcome what is yours to pay attention to.

And if nothing arises,

That's fine too.

Simply honor the silence and presence itself.

As we complete this practice and you prepare to move into whatever calls to you next,

Take one more full centering breath.

And release it.

May your day be aligned with your highest good and blessed in every way.

And so it is.

I’m glad I found this one. A lovely way to start the day. With gratitude, and anchoring in the breath. I especially like opening to the gifts of the universe for me, for today. My angels surround me. Thank you Susannah
