So,

Today I am being guided to do a meditation,

Because I'm always guided to do these things,

Around something that Michael Singer in The Untethered Soul talks about.

And it's around,

It's recognizing the thorns that we have embedded in our heart and releasing those today,

Or one of them,

You know,

However many you want to pull out.

But the thing about the thorns,

Right,

That's the wounding,

Where we close our heart off.

And when we close our heart off,

Like I did,

I've done several times,

I was reminded this week that I just shut down.

I put up a barricade and build the castle with the moat,

And I just go into hiding.

So when we close our hearts down,

When we lock them away,

Then we are not able to access our inner wisdom.

We are not able to live our life from the truth of who we are.

And we're not able to live our life fully grounded in the love that we are,

The light that we are.

And that's my mission,

I guess.

I am a conduit for spirit.

So I am here to support you as you listen in becoming a conduit for spirit.

And that means addressing the wounding that has closed your heart down.

We're going to get grounded,

And then we'll go in and look at what kind of thorn we want to pull out.

Maybe all of them,

It's up to you.

And I invite you to journal after we do this guided meditation,

Because there will be insight that you will receive as we open our heart.

All right.

So do that.

Take a deep breath and let it out on a ha.

Just allowing that sound vibration to kind of shake things up within you.

Good.

And then another deep breath into the belly,

Just allowing any anxiety that is living there.

Just to soften and release on the exhale.

And then breathing into the heart center,

Just for grounding.

Breathing in and exhaling.

Now I want you to put your attention on the bottom of your feet.

We're going to ground right now.

So putting your attention on the bottom of your feet,

I want you to send down into the earth a root system,

A very vital green roots.

All the way down into the core center of the earth.

Just allow yourself to feel that earth energy.

All the way down there in that molten lava,

Rocky,

Quartz-y experience.

And then I want you to breathe that energy up through the bottom of your feet,

Breathing it up through that root system,

All the way up through the bottom of the feet.

Breathing it up through the legs,

The knees,

Lubricating the knees.

Breathing it up the thighs to the hips,

Lubricating the hips.

Breathing it up into your torso,

That earth energy that is so vitalizing.

Breathing it all the way up into your lungs,

Your heart.

Breathing it into the shoulder area,

Releasing any negative tension and allowing that earth energy to flow down and out the arms and fingertips.

Again,

Lubricating elbows,

Shoulders,

Fingers,

Knuckles.

And then breathing that vital earth energy up into the brain system,

Allowing it to just move in and through and around that entire system,

The back of the head,

The front,

Where we're oh so busy.

And then breathing it all the way up through the top of your head and let it just cascade over you like a water fountain.

Just feeling that earth holding you,

Surrounding you,

Grounding you.

Good.

Now I want you to take a deep breath again into your heart.

And I want you to allow it to open and notice where it gets stuck.

Notice where you're holding something close to the vest,

If you will.

Holding your heart in a place of safety.

Just take another deep breath and notice.

Notice how you feel.

Notice where you're holding,

Wounding in your heart.

And continue to breathe.

And you don't even need to know what it is,

But sometimes that's good.

For me,

My trigger,

My thorn that was in my heart that I thought I had extricated,

Extracted was deep wounding,

Betrayal,

Feeling cheated,

And therefore not trusting.

This isn't just in this lifetime for me.

It went back eons of lifetimes,

If you will.

So just notice what is that thorn?

Where are you holding your heart closed?

Just breathe as you notice.

And ask yourself maybe,

What is this wounding?

Breathing and becoming consciously aware and awake.

Because it's only when we are consciously aware that we really can be the observer and not the activated participant.

So just notice,

What's that wounded?

What hurts that causes you to close your heart to love?

That causes you to hold the light that you are within and not allow it to radiate out?

What is that thorn?

And just breathe.

And begin to see around that thorn,

And maybe it's a field of thorns,

I don't know.

But begin to see when you are activated by that thorn,

What is your reaction?

This is the secondary part of being the observer.

How do you react when that thorn is activated,

When you're triggered,

When that wounding is seeping?

How do you react?

Possibly you shut down your heart even harder.

Possibly you just attack.

Possibly you go hide out.

Or you stop speaking your truth because the wounding is so hurtful.

And breathe.

Breathe.

And I want you to know that this thorn,

This wound is from your past.

It has no thing to do with who you are now.

Because in every moment we are made new.

In every moment we have choice to become more fully who we are and who we're meant to be or to remain in the past.

And having choice means you have to face some of that wounding,

I would suggest all of it,

So that you can have a present and a future that is clear.

Clear of old energetic wounds that get stuck in our body.

That's why Michael Singer calls it a thorn.

And it's as easy as just pulling it out.

So just notice right now for a minute what that wounding might be.

How does that wound,

That thorn feel in your heart right now?

And I want you to begin to see a light surrounding that thorn.

And I would suggest this is the light of who you are and always have been.

So whoever you thought wounded you or created this,

Your light is still there.

So begin to see it surrounding that thorn.

Okay.

That's good.

And as that light surrounds the thorn,

Begin to notice that where it's been embedded,

It's loosening.

Good.

Now,

On the count of three,

I'm going to invite you to pull that thorn out.

So take a deep breath and exhale.

You don't have to think about this.

On the count of three,

We're going to pull it out together.

Ready?

One,

Two,

Three.

And as you pull that thorn out,

As you extricate it,

Just see it go into the no-thing-ness that it came from and notice that light within you that was surrounding that wound has already begun to close the hole that the thorn was,

Healing that wound,

The light that you are.

And begin to flood love into that space in your heart that has just opened.

The love that you are,

The love that you have for yourself.

And allow the light to heal any other thorns,

Known or unknown,

Within your heart today.

And as the light does that,

With each and every thorn you choose to eradicate,

Allow the light to heal the wound and allow the heart to flood with more love,

Self-love,

Flooding yourself from the inside out.

And allow that love to open the heart further and further and further.

So maybe it's almost like a 360 experience of love in your physical,

Mental,

Emotional,

And spiritual body.

From the love that you are,

Breathing it in and circulating it in your world today,

This day,

Every day.

And I invite you today to notice when you might become re-triggered and notice that that thorn is no longer there for you to react to.

Just notice how today unfolds,

Having removed the thorns from your inner heart and allowing that heart to heal with light so that you may radiate the love and the light that you are.

So breathing yourself back into your body in case you left for a little bit,

Breathing yourself into that grounded space within your heart,

Breathing yourself to this present moment.

And I thank you today for taking the time to investigate the love that you are and allow your light to radiate.

Yeah,

It's good.

And so it is,

Namaste.
