So giving yourself just a five minute pause.
So doing this any time in your day that you need to reset,
That you just need a little bit of time and space just to drop into the moment,
To press pause,
Just to find a little pocket of calm and ease.
So letting yourself just find just a place you can sit or lie down just for these few minutes,
Anywhere that feels comfortable to you.
And you might wriggle your shoulders,
You might grab a cushion or a blanket to wrap around you,
Whatever feels right.
But just let yourself be supported.
Let,
When you're ready,
Your eyes close and just feel your body as it rests wherever you are and whatever is supporting and holding you up,
Just let your body soften and settle and rest into that support.
So the body can just soften a little bit.
You can just let go of a little bit of effort and as the body just settles,
Sinks down,
Releases into the support that is holding you,
Just come to notice your breathing.
Be aware of the inhale and the exhale,
The ebb and flow of the breath.
Let your jaw soften,
Let your shoulders release down as the breath washes in and out.
And just letting the breath find a lightness,
A spaciousness.
Let the breath flow in a really smooth and effortless way.
And if you can let the inhale come in through the nose and letting the breath flow into the lungs through the nose slowly and spaciously.
And then just letting the breath go again through the nose or the lips,
Whichever feels better in the moment.
Slowly breathing in,
Breathing in,
Letting the body move softly as you breathe,
Slowly breathing out,
Letting the breath go.
And just let the focus of your awareness just be your breath moving,
Flowing in and out,
Feeling your body move as you breathe,
Having a sense that the exhalation as the breath leaves your body could just release and soften your body a little bit more than any tension,
Any gripping physically in the body could let go with the exhalation.
Maybe any busyness,
Thoughts,
Worries in your mind.
You might also think of letting them go as you exhale,
The breath could carry them away,
Release them,
Let them go.
But the breath is just smooth,
Soft and easy.
Just being here in the breath and here in the moment,
Taking this pause to replenish yourself,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Letting the breath flow,
Letting your awareness rest upon it.
That's all you need to do.
Just having this pause for yourself,
Simple few minutes,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Taking a final couple of breaths at your own pace,
Easy,
Soft.
And then when you're ready,
Maybe taking a stretch,
Wrinkling your shoulders,
Letting your eyes come open when you're ready,
Taking a little look around the space that you're in,
Letting your awareness fully drop back into the room,
The space that you're in.
And just bringing with you maybe a feeling of a little bit more calmness and ease,
Having taken that little bit of pause for yourself.
