Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.

Allow your body to be supported.

Let your attention arrive gently,

Right here,

Right now.

Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing.

No need to change it.

Just feel the breath moving in and out in its own steady way.

Bring awareness to the weight of your body,

The contact beneath you,

And the calming sensation of being held softly.

With each breath,

The body begins to organize itself.

Muscles soften as the whole nervous system settles into a slower rhythm.

Notice the expansion of the chest.

A calm,

Even pace begins to emerge.

Now,

Bring attention to the center of your body,

The space around the heart,

Movement,

Presence.

There is a natural intelligence here.

A steady rhythm that knows how to regulate and balance.

As you breathe,

Allow this steadiness to spread through the shoulders,

Down the arms,

Into the hands,

Through the spine,

The hips,

The legs.
