I believe that opening minds and hearts to the benefits of a mindfulness practice is a welcome and significant benefit to the human experience. Mindfulness belongs to one component of how we work to improve our lives and deal with the stresses and challenges of life. These mindful practices should always complement the skills and expertise that modern medicine, therapy and technology have to offer us.

Hello,

I'm Sue Cooper and I welcome you to Heart Space,

A place where we link the concept of emotional intelligence with the practice of mindful awareness.

We move the focus of our attention from the world outside of sensory perceptions to the resources we have within.

When you tap into the inner resources,

You slowly start to remember that at the heart of you,

You are peaceful,

Loving,

Harmonious and filled with fun.

I often think of this state as a return to wholeness,

An awareness to where you were in your early years and through the process of growing up is often lost.

It is still there just waiting for you to reconnect again.

This CD is about remembering the simple pleasures and innate gifts which you hold at the core of your being.

And when you return to that quiet place and find the stillness that rests within you,

You connect with your essence,

You connect again with your heart.

The heart is the seat of love,

Compassion,

Kindness and creativity.

And when you find time to be in stillness,

You gradually become aware that the noise of the chattering mind starts to recede into the background,

Which opens to the deeper qualities that are always there,

Whispering quietly to you.

This quieter voice is your intuition,

In inner,

Tuition,

Tutor,

Your inner guide.

It is the key to your personal creativity.

It can help you to keep going in moments of uncertainty.

It connects you to your inner compass.

How can you develop your awareness to become that intuitive self,

To hear the inner voice of wisdom,

Truth and love through cultivating focused awareness and stillness in the present moment?

You just have to relax.

Be willing and open and the path to peace,

Balance,

Harmony and self-discovery will lead you to where stillness resides.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to perceive emotions,

Assimilate emotion-related feelings,

Understand the information of those feelings and manage them.

Emotional energy is a vibration.

E is energy.

Motion is movement.

Emotion is the movement of energy radiating from the heart and is felt in the body.

The word fear has a low vibrational energy which produces negative thoughts.

The words love,

Peace,

Laughter,

Gratitude,

Joy have high vibrational energies bringing in positive vibrations.

When you access these vibrations in your conscious awareness,

You start to raise your energy to reprogram your frequency in and all around you.

When you access the gap in the thoughts with effortless ease,

Your five senses of perception,

Light,

Sound,

Smell,

Touch and taste,

The senses which connects you to the external energies of thoughts and things,

Starts to settle and the noise of the mind quietens.

You then develop an inner awareness of your sixth sense,

Intuition.

You move from head to heart.

Using the positive and living energy like attracts like,

You will attract that higher frequency energy in others.

This journey into the heart space will reveal your truth,

Your path to opening to infinite choices.

When you connect to your inner voice,

Your intuition,

Your heart space and listen to its wisdom,

You will know and feel the choices that are right for you.

We do this through meditation.

Practising every day will bring greater peace,

Health and wellbeing into every aspect of your life.

All you have to do is find the stillness.
