Love Your Body
This guided meditation starts with a breath and then you'll visualize yourself in front of a mirror, saying affirmations and then having gratitude for your body, starting at your feet and going all the way up. Your body is a part of you and therefore means that it is lovable, worthy, and enough (just like the rest of you), Steph

Hi Lovebugs.
This meditation is focusing on body love.
When you're ready go ahead and get nice and comfortable in your meditation spot and go ahead and take a nice deep breath in.
With your next exhale allow your eyes to close.
Just breathing in,
Breathing out,
Relaxing your body.
Perhaps it would feel good to just move your shoulders around for a moment as you get even more comfortable.
Breathing in,
Exhaling out.
Just releasing all the stress from your day and coming into this moment.
It's so wonderful that you're taking some time for you to connect with you and to shift your old perspective of focusing in on your flaws to now seeing your strengths,
Your resilience,
Your love and increase your self-love and increase your self-acceptance especially when it comes to your body.
As you continue to breathe in and exhale out,
Remind yourself that you're safe and it's okay to start changing your story.
It's okay to love your body even when society or other people give the message that you can't.
It's okay to choose you and to love yourself and appreciate yourself,
To like yourself as is and you can continue to grow and do whatever work you want to do on yourself inside and out and you can love yourself along the way.
Loving yourself now means that loving yourself will come with you as your body continues to change and shift over your lifetime,
Over your life experiences.
That's a wonderful gift to give yourself,
Your soul,
Your mind,
Your body.
So now I want you to imagine that you're in a room that feels very beautiful and safe and expansive in the most wonderful ways.
You feel supported and loved in this room.
It's decorated so beautiful that you already feel delight just walking in here.
It feels like a room that would support someone who wanted to increase their self-love and acceptance and as you walk in,
You notice a full-length mirror.
It's a beautiful full-length mirror and there is a chair of some sort right in front of that mirror so you can go over and you can sit or you can stand,
Whatever feels best for you.
And as you walk in,
You notice a full-length mirror and as you see yourself in the mirror,
Remind yourself that we're here to honor you,
To love you.
This is what we're doing right now is to honor who you are,
To appreciate your body inside and out.
So I want you to begin by repeating these affirmations after me.
I have potential to love myself and accept myself deeply.
I'm getting better and better at loving myself.
I like the idea of self-love and acceptance.
The universe is full of love and people who love themselves.
I'm adding to the love.
There are others who love themselves who used to be where I am now.
It is possible for me to love and accept myself deeply.
I like to see myself love in action.
I can already feel more love.
Self-love is growing within me now.
And if you have another affirmation or positive uplifting statement that you'd like to say,
Go ahead and do that now.
Very well.
Now I want you to notice that you can see your feet in this mirror.
And I want you to take a moment and thank your feet for all the experiences they've brought you to.
Take a moment and think about everything your feet have allowed you to do in your lifetime.
They're so strong.
They hold you and they support you.
And they support you.
Or if for some reason your feet are unable to support you physically,
How have they supported you emotionally?
What have your feet allowed you to experience in your lifetime?
Very well.
Now let's move up to those legs.
You can do your legs all at once or you can break it down into several different parts.
You can start with your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
Then your thighs,
Your upper legs,
However you want to do it.
Just take a moment now and remind yourself of all the experiences that have warmed your heart,
That have delighted you,
That have made you laugh,
That have brought you joy and even the times when they held you through pain and sorrow.
Think about your legs and how much they have contributed to your life,
The way they are.
Beautiful,
Strong,
Wonderful,
Lovable,
Worthy legs.
Very well.
And now let's move up to your glutes.
How have your glutes contributed to your life in a positive and beneficial way?
Very well.
Now let's focus on your stomach,
Your lower stomach,
Your upper stomach.
And I really want you to tap into your love right now.
Sometimes we can just tap into your love right now.
You can feel the energy in your stomach,
Your lower stomach,
Your upper stomach,
And you can feel the energy in your stomach.
How have your glutes contributed to your love right now?
Sometimes we get the message that in order to have a beautiful stomach,
It needs to be perfectly flat.
And I want you to ask yourself,
Is that true?
I want you to think about all of the stomachs you've seen in your life and how many people you think are beautiful and worthy of love,
Worthy of good things,
When they have a stomach that isn't flat.
How many women,
How many men have you thought that their body is wonderful?
They're wonderful.
They're lovable.
Sometimes society and other people will give us messages that keep us small,
That feed the doubt.
And it's up to us to say no more.
We're going to now block any time we receive a message that wants to support our old story.
And instead,
We bring in messages that support our new story,
The new story of being lovable,
Worthy,
Sexy,
Attractive,
Beautiful,
Regardless of what our body looks like.
Regardless if our stomach is flat.
Regardless if you have stretch marks.
Regardless if you have fat on your belly or anywhere else on your body.
Thanking your stomach for all of the experiences it's allowed you to have,
That your stomach supports so many organs for you to be able to experience and function in life.
Our stomachs need love too.
They need softness and gentleness,
Kindness.
They work so hard for us.
So take a moment and just appreciate your stomach,
What it does on a physical level for you.
And that from this point forward,
You get to decide the value of your stomach.
Very well.
And now let's focus on your chest.
Focus on what you appreciate about your chest.
Here oil can not be juiced.
Very well.
And now let's focus on your chest.
Focus on what you appreciate about your chest,
The goodness that your chest provides you.
What does having your chest offer you?
How does it add to your life?
Compliment your body.
Reminding yourself again that your chest is a part of you and therefore it is worthy enough and beautiful regardless of the size of your chest,
Regardless if it has stretch marks.
Your chest is a part of you and therefore it is love and lovable.
And now let's go to your back.
What has your back provided you in this lifetime?
What have you been able to do and receive and experience because of this amazing back that you have?
Take a moment and just appreciate your back and all that it does for you every single day.
And because your back is a part of you,
Regardless of what it looks like,
It is worthy,
It is enough,
And it is lovable just as you are.
And now let's move on up to your neck.
What has your neck provided in this lifetime of yours?
How does it support you on a daily basis?
Give your neck some love and gratitude right now because again,
Regardless of what your neck looks like,
Because your neck is a part of you,
It's beautiful,
It's lovable,
It's worthy and it's enough.
And now let's move up to your face and to that space underneath your chin and to any of your facial features.
What has your face contributed to in this lifetime?
How many smiles have you exchanged?
How much laughter have you received and given?
How often because you have this amazing face,
You've been able to talk to people and share wisdom and insight and funny jokes and you've been able to receive wisdom and insight and funny jokes.
So let's also include your ears,
Your eyes,
Every single part about your head,
Your face.
There's so much gratitude to be had here because there is so much love for you here.
There's so much wonderful things that our face allows us to do to communicate with others even without saying a word.
And now I want you to think about your arms.
Take a moment in appreciation for your arms.
How many hugs have you received?
How many people have you got to embrace that you love and feel the warmth and the energy exchange in your arms because you have these incredibly beautiful,
Strong,
Receiving and giving arms.
So take a moment and just appreciate these arms.
How many people have you been able to hold?
How many hands have you been able to touch?
How many experiences have you had that your hands and arms have assisted you in?
Think about it through your life.
That dance,
That moment,
That always brings a smile to you.
And now take a moment and reflect on your entire body.
What is the best memory or memories that you have?
Would you have been able to do these things,
Have these memories,
Without your body?
It's tempting to be hard on ourselves,
To point out that we're not enough,
To focus on the lack or our flaws that perhaps society or someone that we loved once told us was a flaw.
And this story is hurting you.
It's keeping you back.
It's preventing you from seeing who you really are,
How enough you are,
How worthy you are,
How lovable you are,
How attractive and fun and playful and honest and full of life.
And all of the experiences you want to have are yours to have as soon as you see your value and your worth.
So it's time to get out of your own way and to appreciate every single cell,
Organ,
Muscle and section and piece of your body because this is you and you are whole and you are beautiful and you are complete.
So it's time to create this new story,
A story where you support self-love,
Self-acceptance,
Where you are kind to your body,
Where you listen to your body,
Where you have this incredible relationship of exchanging information,
Honoring each other with your body.
Your body does what your mind says for it to do.
It takes you where you want to go,
Eats what you want to eat,
Plays what you want to play,
Learns what you want to learn,
Takes you,
Supports you,
Loves you unconditionally.
And now it's time to return that love to your body from your mind.
Your soul is already there.
Your soul already loves every single part of you unconditionally,
Expansively,
Otherworldly.
And now it's time for your mind to get on board and you get to say what your mind thinks.
You get to decide the thoughts and feelings you're going to have over your body and with consistency you'll see a shift that will last your lifetime.
Give yourself the opportunity,
The chance,
The journey to love your body deeply and completely,
To accept your body as it is and as it changes on your journey,
Sometimes by choice and sometimes by life.
However,
You always get to choose to love it or to hate it.
So now know that you have the power within to love yourself inside and out,
To nourish yourself with kindness,
With building a wonderful relationship with your body.
You have the power within you.
You have the resources.
You have the resilience,
The wisdom,
The love.
It's all right inside your heart,
Your mind,
Your soul,
Your body.
So take a moment and just have gratitude for yourself in front of that mirror,
For the love that you poured into yourself.
The love that you experienced today is yours to always have,
Is yours to always have and take with you.
And with that gratitude flowing through you,
Breathing in and breathing out.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes,
Stepping into the rest of your day with more love growing inside you.
Thank you so much for being here today.
I appreciate it.
Remember that you are lovable,
You are worthy,
You matter and when I mean you,
I mean all of you including your body.
Thank you for being here.

Beautiful meditation. I was stuck in a pattern of thinking negatively about my body this morning and specifically looked for a meditation to help me change that. This worked and then some. I’m now filled with gratitude and love for all my body does and has done for me. Thank you, Steph ❤️
