We really enjoy letting go right now.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
We feel our body soft,
Relaxed and easy,
But our awareness very clear.
And awareness in the body,
I mean very clear where all the parts of our body are located.
How far do our fingers get to?
Where do the fingers get to?
What about our feet?
Where are they?
Feeling our legs,
Our knees,
Our thighs.
Feeling the weight of the pelvis,
Our gan,
The ashvan,
Pressing down on the floor and knowing that pressure,
Seeing it,
Knowing it,
How is it for us?
And the back touching the ground,
Pressing here and pressing there and parts of the back not in touch with the ground,
Knowing the differences.
And all the time we are checking through the body,
We are knowing the territory of the body very clearly,
Fully aware of bodily life,
Of where is the body.
And we know the limits of the body.
We know the back is pressing down.
We know what is back and what is not back.
The meeting point between the back and the floor,
Very clear.
We may have thoughts,
We may be listening to voices,
But at this time keep coming back to knowing the limits of the body,
The boundaries of the body,
How far it stretches.
And knowing the boundaries as a dynamic experience,
We know the boundaries because they're very alive.
The pressure of the ashvan on the floor is telling us,
Here is contact,
Here is my gvulot.
Be aware of the whole body,
Very alive.
The flowing of sensations in the body,
But they're limited,
The boundaries are clear.
We know where we are.
Okay,
Now we're going to go out.
Perhaps the easiest place to start is the sense of sound,
The khush shmiya.
Just get a feeling,
A sense of sound around us,
In the room.
Don't need to identify what the sounds are,
Just a sense of sound outside.
And allow our mind to reach out,
Our awareness to reach out,
So we're no longer interested in the boundary,
We're like a balloon,
The boundary is dissolving,
We're getting bigger.
Bringing our awareness to the sides,
In all directions,
Feel our awareness becoming like a kind of large balloon.
We're just knowing,
Out and out,
Stretching our awareness out and out.
The sense of being out,
Spacious,
Like mirchav,
And feel it as a lightness and a freedom to be out,
And not to be closed in a body,
In a boundary,
But to feel free,
As if we're made of air,
Of space,
Being of space,
Not a being of a physical body.
Our awareness like space,
Actually that's its real nature.
Letting go,
Letting it go out.
This big mind,
From stretching out,
Like space,
Like the sky,
And the sky isn't disturbed when a cloud passes by,
A thought passes by,
It doesn't disturb the sky.
And now slowly,
Slowly come back to the boundary again,
Returning to the body,
Knowing the touch,
The body is touching the ground.
The sense that I am in the body now,
More clearly,
I'm limited,
I own my body,
I am my body,
And I know where it is,
And just explore that sense again.
We can move a little bit,
The hands and the feet,
And slowly,
Slowly we can sit up.
