This is a meditation for connecting to your wholeness.

Your wholeness meaning that part of you that is fully resourced,

Absolutely limitless,

Infinite in its wisdom,

Fully resilient,

And connected to all that is,

The universal energy flow.

So go ahead and just find a comfortable seat.

I'd suggest having both feet flat on the ground,

But if there's another position that feels a little more comfortable for you,

Perhaps that's cross-legged,

Just go ahead and find that.

And when you're ready,

Maybe you need to take a few wiggles or shoulder rolls or any other tiny movements to get yourself settled.

When you're ready,

Just start to drop your gaze,

Letting your focus start to turn inward.

And if it feels comfortable for you,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

And just feel your butt in the seat that you're sitting on,

Leaning back and feeling the support of whatever is underneath you,

Feeling your connection to that grounding,

Knowing that you are supported physically.

And take a nice deep inhale in through your nose and slowly exhale.

Try to slow your breath down as you exhale.

So breathing in and slowly,

Slowly,

Slowly letting all of the air out.

Just play with that breath,

Beginning to turn the dial down on the exterior world,

Your to-do list or anything that may be pulling you from the present moment,

Any place you've been earlier today or anywhere you have to go to later.

And the same applies to any tasks you've been working on or any tasks you need to complete.

Just start to pull your energy back into yourself,

Breathing deeply and fully.

Breathing deeply and fully.

Big inhale in and slowly exhaling out.

Just see if you can lengthen both your inhale and your exhale.

And if your mind feels a little bit wandering or busy or thinking,

It's all okay.

It's totally normal.

Just focus on your breath,

Maybe even seeing if you can trace the pathway of the breath entering into your body.

So maybe that's in through your nostrils and past your nose and down your throat,

Past your lips and tongue.

All the way into your belly and finding the exhale.

Maybe you send that breath back up and out.

Just see if you can play with that sensation of breathing in and out.

Feeling the air on your skin,

And noticing any sounds that are present within your space.

Maybe even layers of sound.

What's underneath the sound that you hear first.

Perhaps noticing if there is a particular taste in your mouth,

Or a smell in the room that you're sitting in.

Maybe you have darkness behind your eyelids that you see or colors.

Just notice what is present in your being through your senses.

Deep breath in and long,

Slow exhale,

Breathing out.

And for just a moment,

I'd love for you to let your breath allow your mind to travel down into your body.

Send your mind to the surface of your body.

To travel down into your body.

Send your mind down into your body,

Into your belly.

Don't think too hard about this,

Just intend for it to happen and it will.

Breathing in and out and letting your mind travel down,

Down,

Down into your belly.

Down into your belly,

Into that source of complete knowing,

Your inner wisdom,

Your intuition,

Your gut instinct or gut knowing.

Send your mind all the way down into here.

Just breathing here.

And as you inhale in and exhale out,

Imagine that in your belly there is an image or a light or a color that you connect with.

Whatever comes to mind first is absolutely right.

There's no right or wrong here.

Just see what comes to mind.

What is the image that lets you know you're connected to that inner wisdom,

Your inner resourcing,

Your inner knowing?

And let it expand.

See if each breath you take can expand that color,

That image,

The light,

Whatever.

It is that you see.

Just let it get bigger and bigger and bigger with each breath.

Inhaling in and exhaling out.

Inhaling in and exhaling out.

Staying connected to this place of deep knowing.

Maybe you want to place one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly,

Making physical contact with that cauldron of knowing and creativity,

Wisdom,

And also physically connecting with your heart,

The part of you that loves deeply and fully,

The part of you that may even feel anxious sometimes or tender,

Where your inner little one resides.

So just feel that place,

That heart space underneath your palms.

And take a moment here breathing with your hands on your body,

Feeling those points of contact,

Not only with your physical body,

But also with your energetic centers.

Just breathing in and breathing out,

Perhaps envisioning the connection between your heart and your knowing.

So with each inhale and exhale,

You can inch by inch,

Breath by breath,

Bring a little cord of connection of energy between your heart and your intuition.

Or maybe you just sense energy flowing back and forth between the two.

Or maybe it's something else that helps you know these two areas are connected.

So just feel that.

Breathing in and out.

And knowing in this place,

In this space,

In the present moment,

Which you are right now,

Absolutely everything you need is available to you.

There is only now.

So just feel the empty presence of now.

And knowing that you are connected to this space,

That you can return to this space at any time.

It is one breath away.

So take a few moments,

A few breaths here to drop a little more deeply into the present,

Into yourself,

Into your knowing.

And breathe and be.

Just be.

And now,

Nice and slowly,

Start to bring you back into your body,

Into the room where you sit,

Into the chair,

The sofa or the floor that you're sitting upon.

Maybe taking some micro movements with your fingers or your toes,

Starting to bring some movement back to your physical body.

Maybe taking little circles with your tailbone or your shoulders or dropping one ear to the corresponding shoulder.

Whatever you need to start to gently bring yourself back to yourself,

Back to this day,

This space.

And when you're ready,

You can blink open your eyes.

Start to take in your surroundings using your eyes,

But also your whole head and neck,

Turning your head,

Looking all the way around,

Just reorienting to your space.

Perhaps letting your gaze rest upon something in the room that brings you comfort or helps to connect you to this sense of resilience,

Wholeness,

Wisdom,

And just letting your gaze stay there for a moment.

Perhaps using it as a symbol anytime you get lost or in your head,

Using it as a symbol to remind you of all that you really are.

Blessings.

I was so fidgety before this meditation and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make it through. I completed the meditation and wow I feel so much better and way more grounded. I needed that so badly so thank you so much! 🙏🏽
