This is a guided meditation to help create awareness and space in your pelvis. It is very relaxing, peaceful, and healing. Scanning through the pelvic bowl, feeling this space in your body, and connecting to your root and creative center. Relaxing and releasing tension in the pelvis and pelvic floor. This meditation is especially helpful if you are dealing with pelvic pain or stuck emotions in your pelvic bowl. This meditation is focused on the pelvis born with a uterus.

Welcome at the pelvic space meditation.

To start,

Lay comfortably on your back.

You might choose to lay on your bed,

Roll out your yoga mat or use your couch.

Get as comfortable as you can,

Maybe even placing a pillow underneath your knees to make it more comfortable and relaxing for your lower back and pelvis.

Maybe cover yourself with a blanket and then close your eyes.

Let go of everything and slowly arrive in your body.

Let's take a couple deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And if you like,

You can even make a sound.

Releasing any tension.

Just feel your body,

Your breath,

Begin to breathe a little deeper.

And see if you can start to direct your breath all the way down into your pelvis.

Almost like you are filling your pelvis with your breath.

See if you can direct your breath all the way into the right side of your pelvis.

And then all the way into the left side of your pelvis.

Then bring your attention to your pubic bone.

Get a feeling here.

Almost like you are sensing your body from within.

Feel the bone,

The hardness,

The size.

Just keep breathing loosely and open towards your pelvic area.

And slowly move your attention from your pubic bone along the left edge of your pelvis to your side.

Then rest there for a moment.

Make contact.

And slowly move all the way over that side edge,

Over that rim of your pelvic crest.

And then start to make contact with that dimple at the back,

Your SI joint.

Feel your SI joint.

And continue to the center of your sacrum with the tailbone underneath.

And just take a moment to really let your body be heavier.

Letting your body ground.

Letting your whole pelvic bowl sink a little deeper into the space behind the sacrum.

Then feel in your body how the left side and the right side of your pelvis feel now.

Do they feel the same?

Or do you notice a difference?

Then make contact with that right dimple,

The right SI joint.

And see if you can breathe into it.

Now slowly come back to the front of your pelvis,

Over the pelvic crest on the right side.

Maybe take a moment there and rest for a little while there.

Then finish the oval and come all the way back to the front to your pubic bone.

Now try to really feel your entire pelvis.

Feel in the space.

Feel how big it is.

And notice if you feel any tension anywhere in your pelvis.

Then see if you can get a feel for the full width of your pelvis.

Feel how open it is.

How calm in your body.

If you do feel a spot or a place in your pelvis where there is some tension,

Just calmly breathe towards it.

You want to breathe into it as though you are going to move that tension.

You can do this too with the parts of the pelvis where you don't really have a lot of feeling that feel a little bit numb.

Just by breathing into it,

You kind of set it in motion and it can become more present.

Then bring your attention deep in the center of your pelvis,

Your pelvic bone,

Towards your uterus.

Or if you don't have a uterus,

Just the space where the uterus would be.

Your deepest center,

The core of your pelvis.

Feel a space.

Feel how the uterus or the uterus space can start to feel a little bit fuller and heavier.

How does the connection feel here with your uterus space?

See if you can really breathe into it.

Then try to feel your ovaries on each side of your uterus,

Left and right.

They might feel a little bit light or warm or tingly.

Have you ever felt this inner fire?

Now bring your attention to your vulva.

Feel around your vulva.

Feel the opening of your vagina,

The labia around it.

Feel the front,

Clitoris.

Are there any places that feel good?

Maybe places where you feel arousal?

Take a breath deep into your vulva.

How does it feel to be here?

How does your vulva,

Your vagina feel like?

Now bring your awareness to the back.

Underneath the vaginal opening,

You have the perineum.

And a little bit further down is your anus.

In between your anus and your vaginal opening is the perineal body,

A dynamic place where all these different muscles are coming together.

If you touch this spot of your body,

There's almost always this immediate feeling of grounding.

Notice how it feels for you touching it with your awareness.

Does it feel grounded or do you notice tension?

Now bring your awareness to your pubic bone.

And bring your awareness to your tailbone.

In between,

Visualize this group of muscles all over the base of your pelvic bone,

Reaching from your tailbone to your pubic bone.

And also in between your sitting bone.

These are your pelvic floor muscles.

They support your organs.

They contribute to your core balance and stability.

They play a huge role in your sexual pleasure.

Your urethra,

Vagina and rectum all go through your pelvic floor.

Just try to really make contact with your pelvic floor.

Maybe you can let your breath move all the way down into your pelvic floor and let your pelvic floor receive your breath.

Now imagine a rose bud in your pelvic floor.

And with each inhale,

A leaf of the rose will open.

And with every leaf that opens,

Your pelvic floor releases tension.

Every breath bringing in more relaxation in your pelvic floor.

Just melting the tension away.

Every breath in,

Open and open,

Release and melt.

Until the rose is fully into bloom and your whole pelvic floor feels relaxed,

Soft and open.

Now feel the peace,

The silence,

The space in your body.

Soft,

Melting away any heavy tension.

You can even spread your legs a little bit here and see if that gives you even more space.

So you can really let all the tension melt and open more and more.

Be really present in your body and in your pelvic floor.

Notice how it feels to be here.

This is the most creative part of your body.

Notice if there is any pain present,

Any trauma.

Does any part of your pelvic floor need healing?

Could you maybe ask your pelvic bull what it needs?

What can you give to your pelvic bull?

Is there maybe any part that wants celebration?

How could you celebrate your pelvic bull?

Just give what your pelvis needs.

Keep your awareness,

Your focus in your pelvic bull.

Just feel and be here and let all the wisdom come up that wants to come up.

Maybe there is something you want to take with you.

Maybe something you are ready to let go of here.

Just feel,

Be soft and gentle.

Now slowly we are coming to an end of this meditation.

You can always stay longer and just be here in your pelvic bull.

Whenever you are ready you can slowly start to breathe a little deeper.

You can start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Move your body more and more until you feel you are ready to roll over to your favorite side.

Just take a moment there in a fetal position.

No rushing and only when you feel you are ready you can come all the way back up to a seat.

There you can take a little moment with the eyes still closed and thank yourself.

Thank your beautiful body,

The time,

The space.

Thank your beautiful pelvis.

I thank you.

This was really lovely. Visualizing the petal of flowers opening up in my pelvic area helped melt away some mild lower abdominal discomfort I was having. Thank you for this meditation. I will be coming back to it. β™₯️

So good. I am so craving more about my pelvic floor as I am healing after some medical interventions. It was nice you mentioned numbness as I can relate to this. Just bought a pelvic wand but I am so going to search for more meditations and talks like this, i need that deeper connection than just the physical. So much to learn about this space in meπŸ™πŸ˜Œ

Thank you for this meditation. I am recovering from a hysterectomy and find this to be a very helpful way to both accept and love my body as it now is, and a wonderful accompaniment to the rehab process.

That was brilliant, cause an emotional release which I'm grateful for and better connection. When body scanning I'd get stuck around my pelvis.
