Greetings,
Beautiful soul.
Welcome to a safe space of self-care and healing.
Self-care is at the tip of our tongues and our fingers,
On social media,
In conversations.
But what does it truly mean?
Let's take a moment to set our intentions,
Individually and collectively,
About what self-care means in this moment.
Today's meditation is for your self-care toolbox.
So bookmark it and come back as often as your soul needs.
Are we ready?
You may choose to lie down or sit for this self-care meditation.
Ensure that you are comfortable and will not be disturbed.
I invite you to check that your head,
Neck,
And spine are all aligned for a divine flow of energy.
Now let's connect to our internal self by gently allowing the eyes to soften and close.
Begin to notice your breathing.
As you do,
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Tell them to melt away from the air with each exhale.
Keeping your awareness on the breath moving within,
Take a deep breath,
Inhaling for 1,
2,
3,
4,
Holding for 2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
And release 3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8.
Begin now to marvel at how easy it was for you to welcome yourself into a relaxed space.
Again inhale deeply filling the belly for 1,
2,
3,
4,
Holding it in the lungs,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
And exhaling deeply 3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8.
Allow yourself to breathe normally.
In this space of awareness and stillness,
Here you are.
Welcome yourself to this space by placing one hand with open palms on your belly and the other open palm on your heart center.
Take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale gently through the mouth.
Breathing with the inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Imagine a white light of soothing energy beginning to move into your body now entering through the tips of your toes,
Filling your feet,
Moving up the ankles,
White light flowing upward through the legs,
The knees,
The thighs,
Warm healing white light spreading up the thighs,
Cradling the pelvis,
Permeating the belly as you breathe it in to fill your diaphragm.
And allow the white light to move up into your heart center,
Feeling its warmth and healing and inhale drawing the energy up to your shoulder blades,
Allowing the white light to circuit down the arm and into your fingertips.
And as it fills the hand allow it to circuit back up the arms at the shoulder blades,
Meeting at the neck and filling the neck,
Your throat chakra,
Hold it here.
The throat chakra,
Also known as vishuddha,
Is responsible for communication,
Self expression and the ability to speak your personal truth.
As you inhale imagine this white,
Warm,
Intense,
Healing light permeating your throat,
Dissolving away all doubt,
Fear and blockages in your throat chakra,
Empowering you to speak your personal truth in light,
Kindness,
Beauty,
Strength and boldness to your highest self.
Inhale healing,
Exhale doubt.
Inhale dissolution of fear,
Exhale dissolved fear.
Inhale healing,
Exhale shame.
Inhale feeling fully healed now and exhale deeply the breath of your personal truth.
Repeat these words aloud or in your mind.
I am so grateful for this healing.
I am so authentically whole.
I enjoy this space of love and expression.
I am light.
I am whole.
I am fearless.
I am loved.
I am at peace.
Now carrying that wise,
Powerful energy into your crown chakra,
Inhale allowing the light to flow upward,
Filling your third eye,
Filling the crown of your head.
Your entire body is now filled with healing,
Kindness,
Love and restoration.
Allow yourself to feel your energy in this moment.
Allow yourself to acknowledge the care that you have given to yourself.
It may want to manifest as a smile on your face or a satisfied sigh or a deep feeling of gratitude.
Hold on to the energy of this feeling.
We're going to carry it with you.
And whenever you need this warm,
Rich,
Nurturing again,
This practice is always waiting for you.
Bringing your awareness to the tips of your toes,
Inhale deeply and wiggle them.
Bringing your awareness to the tips of your fingers,
Allow them to move,
Healed and whole.
Call yourself to focus on the tip of your nose.
Become aware of your breath moving there.
And then call yourself to focus on slowly opening the eyes.
Take both of your hands,
Wrap your arms around yourself and say thank you.
Namaste.
