Welcome to Meditations with Stacey.

Today's meditation is centered around anchoring and cultivating a sense of groundedness.

Sometimes when life feels so busy and crazy,

It can be hard to know what direction to go in or even where to start.

Maybe it's hard to unwind and wind down after a full day of work or family or social events or whatever other blessings your life may contain.

So my intent with this meditation is to help you come back to your center,

To tune in and check in with your internal compass.

And to use this meditation to either gain clarity on what to do or where to go or to help you wind down and transition from work to rest or play at the end of a busy and full day.

So find a comfortable position either seated or lying down and make sure you're supported.

You might like to have bare feet for this meditation if it's not too cold.

I invite you to close down your eyes and take your gaze inside.

Start to deepen your breath and begin to let yourself sink deeper and heavier into your chair,

Bed or the floor with each exhale.

Allow yourself to fully land here into your physical body.

As you welcome yourself back into your inner world,

You might like to visualize yourself in nature.

Maybe barefoot on the grass with the soles of your feet grounding deep into the earth beneath you.

Maybe even envision roots growing from your feet down deep into the earth's core as you feel into your foundations as they stabilize and solidify.

Imagine yourself anchored here physically into the earth,

Supported,

Held and protected in this place of beauty.

Take a moment to check in with how this makes you feel.

Check in with how your breath feels.

Maybe give yourself a chance to slow down your breath as you explore the depths and beauty of this place.

Unhurried with no rush,

No forcing,

Just being and seeing where your mind's eye wishes to take you.

You might also like to explore the idea of someone or something that makes you feel safe.

This person,

Object or place can act as a mental anchor to bring you back into the here and now.

When you might feel a sense of unease,

Whether it be anxiety,

Stress,

Anger or any other uncomfortable emotion.

Think of your anchor and embrace the joy,

The love and the feeling of security that washes over you and infuses your entire being.

And know that you can use this whenever you need to.

Take a moment to feel into the sense of safety,

The sense of anchoring of groundedness.

As you take three to five deep full nourishing conscious grounded breaths.

Bring your hands to press gently against one another at heart center.

You're welcome to close your meditation with one chant of on.

Inhale deeply to prepare.

Ahhhhhhhh Thank you for joining me.

Namaste.

I enjoyed it! Found it grounding and for me the talking helped with the focusing.
