So this is a meditation all about how to identify your intuition,

That little voice inside of you that just knows exactly what you need to do.

You never have to question it.

You can trust it,

But that inner voice comes from a really deep place and the ego likes to override that voice by creating the storylines that keep us in cyclical patterns.

So as we go through this practice,

The ego is not something to be conquered.

The ego is something to be observed from a really friendly space.

So as those storylines come up,

I want you to smile at them with your heart,

Just like you would a child who is bumbling his way through the world and doing silly things that you know are just the things that children have to do to learn how to be human.

And you have to allow yourself to be human.

That's what your ego is,

Is your connection to your humanity and your intuition is your connection to your spirituality.

So your spiritual self has that eagle eye view.

They have that top down view where they can see.

I kind of think of it like if you guys ever played like the Legend of Zelda back in the day,

Like you could kind of have that view of the whole map and you could see which island to go to and how to avoid certain adventures and how to go to where you thought it'd be,

You know,

A little bit more fun to play around there.

That's what your intuition has is that access to that bird's eye view of what you should be doing.

And that's what we're going to learn how to connect to right now.

So I want you to get into a comfortable seat.

Sitting is important or standing,

You could stand too,

But no laying down for this one because we need your antenna to be sticking straight up.

And we want to ground the energy both into the earthly realm and up into the heavenly realm.

So sitting with your head above your sacrum,

With your spine in its optimum alignment,

Which is not straight.

No straight spine is a healthy spine,

Healthy spines are curvy spines that allow your spine to move here.

Just for a few moments,

Allow it to move like an octopus tentacle.

You can move your arms around your neck,

Your jaw,

Get your,

Your cheeks,

Your bum cheeks out from underneath you so that you feel really rooted.

If you're standing up,

You can kind of bounce a little bit and shake a little bit.

You could do a few half sun salutations with your arms,

Where you just reach your arms out and up,

And then you pull your hands down and they lands down towards your belly button.

Do that a few times just to really gather some good energy and root it down into your core,

Into your root.

But you're going to find a place of stillness within the next five breaths or so,

Settle into a place where it feels comfortable to be still,

Knowing that you always have the choice to move.

And if there's anything you can do to make yourself like 10% more comfortable,

Then do that,

Take that opportunity.

There's no need to be frozen.

The human body was not meant to be frozen.

That's why our heart is always beating.

That's why our breath is always bringing in oxygen and letting go of carbon dioxide and the other molecules that we're ready to release.

Okay.

Now take a deep breath in and keep breathing in as long as I'm talking.

Let it be a slow breath.

Let it trickle in to fill your lungs entirely so that you feel the tissues of your lungs pressing against the cage of your ribs.

Feel that fullness.

Feel it pressing up against your collarbones up to your throat.

Keep bringing air in.

You can always create more space.

Now hold it through your nose with control.

Exhale slowly trickle out that breath that you just brought in and allow yourself to empty out completely until we empty completely.

We cannot refill our cup.

Last puff.

Again,

Inhale in a deeper breath than before.

Let it come in to all the corners,

All the edges,

All the tissues of your lungs.

Feel it pressing beyond your ribs,

Expanding beyond your body,

Beyond your head,

Beyond your seat,

Beyond your room.

Bring it in.

Hold it.

Let it go.

Exhale everything out slowly and with control telling your nervous system,

Hey,

We're really safe right now and we're using this time to bring in the energy that we need and to release the energy that we don't.

So really release all that energy you don't need.

Let it out.

That last puff.

One more time.

Let's inhale in your biggest breath.

Not too much,

But just before too much.

Too much is never possible with the breath.

You could never like explode your lungs just by breathing here when it's healthy.

Keep it coming.

Get bigger.

Hold it.

Let it go.

Exhale everything out.

Relax.

Release.

That last puff coming up.

Exhale.

Great.

Now a natural breath.

Okay.

Okay.

Take your hands and place them on your legs,

Palms facing down,

And gently touch your thumb and your index finger together,

Closing off that circle of energy.

What do you have to do to get 10% more comfortable here?

Really the longest part of any meditation practice is usually just the settling of the body.

So really let the body do what it needs to do to settle.

All right.

Now we're going to settle the thoughts.

So allow your thoughts to run rampant.

Just let them wander wherever they want to go and notice what they're like.

Are they images?

Are they memories?

Are they plans?

Are they words?

Are they feelings?

Just notice when you let your thoughts just do whatever they need to do,

Whatever they need to do,

What do they do?

Now you can let your thoughts settle one by one.

Imagine like a snow globe being shaken up and then very gently,

Very beautifully,

Your thoughts float down,

Down out of your mind,

Down through your throat,

Down through your throat,

Your heart,

Your solar plexus,

Your tummy,

Your sacrum.

They settle down through to the earth,

Like way below you,

Underneath the floor,

Underneath the foundation,

Way deep into the earth.

They just float all the way down and settle where the earth can take care of them and use them to create new life.

This may take several minutes.

So I'm going to give you a few minutes.

But if you need longer,

Give yourself the time.

Just press pause until your thoughts have settled.

And then you can press play again when your thoughts are as still as your body,

Which is to say they're never really still,

But they can become like 10% more relaxed.

So press pause now if you need to.

And if you're joining us again,

Welcome back.

I'm going to ask you a series of questions.

We're going to listen for two different voices,

Two different sources.

The first voice that answers the question is your intuition.

It's a low,

Deep voice.

It's quiet because we're not used to listening to it.

We're used to the ego blaring its rock music.

So you have to listen carefully when I ask the question,

That first answer almost before the question is complete,

Because your intuition already knows the answer to any question I could ask it.

But then notice everything that comes up after it,

All the rationalization,

All the memories,

All the explanations,

All the way the ego tells itself the story.

This is an important part of being human.

You have to observe it with friendliness.

Okay,

Are you ready for the first question?

Here it is.

How are you?

How are you feeling?

How are you feeling?

First question,

Here it is.

How are you?

I'm going to ask it again.

And notice if the answer changes,

If you could catch that intuitive voice,

Or if it just went straight to the ego,

The story.

How are you?

Did the intuitive voice change?

Could you hear it better?

Did the ego's response change or was it the same?

Just notice.

Okay,

Here's a different question.

Ready?

What's your purpose?

I'll ask it again.

What's my purpose?

What's my purpose?

And notice what did your intuition say?

Could you hear it?

What did your ego say?

Could you smile at it?

If your ego said,

I don't know,

And you couldn't hear any other voice,

Pause this and ask yourself,

Giving yourself time to listen for the answer.

What's my purpose?

What's my purpose?

If you feel you got some clarity,

Take a moment to send some gratitude to that intuition for that clarity.

Say thank you.

You can say it out loud.

Thank you.

Thank you for guiding me.

Thank you for helping me.

Thank you for knowing.

I'm learning how to listen to you,

And I need your help.

I need you to be a little bit louder.

Thank you.

I love you.

And we have to offer the same to the ego.

Say thank you.

You can say it out loud.

Thank you,

Ego.

Thank you to my humanity.

Thank you to the story.

It's so entertaining.

Thank you for helping me learn the lessons I need to learn.

Thank you for helping me experience everything that is not love so that I can know what love is.

Thank you,

Ego.

I need you to be a little quieter.

I need you to be a little more quiet.

Thank you,

Ego.

I need you to be a little quieter.

I need you to work with my intuition.

It'll be easier for you.

I promise.

And make that promise to yourself from here forward.

I promise I will do everything to make my life easier so that I can make it easier for everyone around me.

And that doesn't mean that life is going to be easy,

My friends.

Life is hard,

And it's supposed to be because we came here for the challenge.

But we also came here to learn how to make it easier.

And what a gift to live now when so much of life is easy.

What a burden to live now when so much of life is impossibly hard.

Thank you for all of it.

Thank you for the easy and the hard.

Thank you for the intuition and the ego.

Thank you for the not love and the love.

Thank you for this experience.

Now rub your hands together really quickly.

And place your hands over your eyes.

Keep your eyes closed,

But look through your eyelids and can you see little lightning bolts of electricity through your eyelids?

If you can't,

Do it again.

Rub your hands together really quickly.

You're making electricity.

And place them over your eyes and look through your eyelids and look for little bolts of light shooting around.

That's your magic,

My friends.

Namaste.

This was incredible 💜 I was in your LIVE today and you read a card for me about my career (started a business) well the question you asked in this meditation “How are you?” But look deeper into how you REALLY are. I just wrote a post about that yesterday. And looking for your purpose, my business is called “MetwithPurpose” so this meditation and asking “what is my purpose?” all just seemed like a surreal experience to me.. Like I was meant to be in your LIVE today and meant to find/hear this meditation. Like things just fell into place 🌻 Thank you so much. It was wonderful to meet you and discover your meditations. You are an absolutely intuitive and energetic soul 💕
