This meditation is meant to help you identify your higher self communications so you can start to differentiate between it and your ego.
While the ego is meant to protect us,
It more often than not is running wild and taking us with it.
Connecting to the observer or higher self or higher consciousness will reduce fear,
Reduce comparisons,
Reduce anger,
And reduce criticisms.
So we start by lying down or sitting up,
Just making sure our spine is straight and our limbs are not crossed so the energy can flow freely.
As you breathe in this meditation,
I want you to breathe from your lower belly or sacral chakra,
Which is right below your navel,
And breathing here has more benefit for your entire body.
With our eyes closed,
We put one hand over our heart and tune into its rhythmic beating for five breaths.
Now that we have connected to our heart,
We are going to imagine our safe place.
This safe place is where you will go when you need answers or comfort.
Think of a place where you feel happiest,
Most at peace,
Serene,
As well as safe.
What do you see here?
Are you outside or inside?
Are you alone?
Are there angels or spirit guides there?
Are there loved ones there?
How about animals?
Do you see any animals there with you?
Who or what is there with you?
If something appears that makes you feel unsafe,
You ask it to leave,
And it does.
Sometimes our ego or subconscious will add to the meditation in hopes of making you feel a certain way.
That's okay.
It's only doing what is designed to do,
And so we don't judge what comes up.
We simply adjust.
We are in control and we set the boundaries.
If any guides or angels or animals are there with you,
They can also help you set the boundaries in this safe place.
What is the scenery here?
Can you tell what season it is?
What colors do you see and what colors are dominant?
That might be a message for you.
What do you hear in this safe place?
Do you hear a river or stream in the valley?
Do you hear seagulls over the ocean?
Do you hear a piano in the background?
Do you hear birds chirping?
Can you hear the wind?
Take some time to notice what you hear and see.
Do you smell anything here?
Pine needles in soil and early morning fog?
Fresh cut roses lying in a basket by your feet?
For all that you see in your safe place,
Identify how each thing might smell.
What can you feel here?
Is there a light breeze on a warm sunny afternoon?
Do you put your toes on the sandy beach as the ebb and flow of waves reach your ankles?
Do you hug any of the guides or animals that have shown up for you?
How do they feel?
Are your feet bare?
Take some time to experience your safe place.
This is your place.
It can change or stay the same at your desire.
Now that you have an idea for all the sensations of your safe place,
I want you to set an intention for it.
What is the purpose of this space?
What kind of energy is welcome to interact with you here?
Do you come here to unwind and feel secure?
Do you come here to cultivate more joy?
Your intention can be different each time you come here.
You may also choose to repeat after me if it feels right.
This is my safe space.
It is perfect for me and supports my highest good.
Nothing is allowed within my space unless it is for my highest good.
I am safe here.
Here I feel happy.
Here I feel loved and supported.
Rest in the feeling of your safe space and interact with your surroundings a bit.
Whether you're walking around smelling the flowers or laid out on a blanket in an open field,
Make it comfortable for you.
Now we ask our higher self to show up.
This is the part of us that supports us in our absolute truth and our purpose.
Our higher self works very hard to help us create our best life.
We want to get to know this part of us more.
We want to trust our intuition and find more ease in our life.
So we call forth our higher self or higher consciousness.
You may both be sitting on a blanket.
You feel safe and connected as well as excited.
What does your higher self look like?
Is it you in your greatest form?
Is it an angel?
Or is it Christ?
Your higher self appears to you in a way simplest for you to understand.
You may not be able to see all the details.
Maybe your higher self is a ball of pure white light.
You might see your higher self as an angelic form of you.
You may want to touch and hug and hold the hand as well as commune with your higher self.
This helps you feel connected and safe.
This angelic form of you is what you become when you live and work from your heart.
So it makes sense to channel this when you need direction and comfort.
Now that you are feeling comfortable with this higher consciousness,
You ask it a question.
The answer is from love.
It is of the highest vibration and that is how you know that you are connected to your higher self and not the ego.
Your higher self has more to tell you.
They tell you how proud of you they are.
They tell you how absolutely powerful you are.
They tell you how excited they are for you.
And they give you a token in your left hand.
You examine this token and think them deeply.
What is this token?
You take this object gifted to you from your highest self along with the image of your higher self and place it in your heart space.
With your hand over your heart,
You understand that this is where all the best and goodness lives within you.
Big inhale deep into the stomach.
And audible exhale.
And finish with a smile.
