Hello,

I'm Gabriella and welcome to day three.

Let's settle into stillness together.

Bring awareness to your breath.

Feel the rise and fall.

Emotional safety is created not outside of us,

But within us.

Many of us spend years outsourcing our sense of safety to other people.

We look for reassurance,

Approval,

Validation,

Belonging and presence.

But healing really begins when you learn to tell your own nervous system,

I am here for you.

I am steady.

You are not alone.

Place a hand on your heart.

Feel the warmth.

Feel the rhythm.

As you breathe,

Imagine your body as a home.

One where every feeling is allowed to enter without judgment.

Fear can knock.

Sadness can come.

Joy can knock.

And inside this home,

You meet each emotion with exactly the same message.

You are welcome.

I am with you.

This is the essence of what it means to have inner safety.

Not the absence of feeling our emotions,

But the presence of supporting them.

Take one more breath here.

Feel the steadiness inside you growing.

You are becoming your own safe place.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

If you have a pen and paper to hand,

I have a couple of journal prompts for you to write down now or perhaps in your own time.

What helps me feel safe?

What emotional needs have I ignored or minimized?

For today's ritual,

I invite you to give yourself a great big hug and hold yourself,

Whether that's hand to heart or arms wrapped around your body.

And repeating the phrase,

I am safe.

I am here.

I am with myself.
