How would your life change if you were mindful throughout the day?

In today's imagining,

Let's open to the possibility of acceptance rather than reaction in our life.

Where at the end of every day you felt like you took it all in your stride,

There was no emotional response or trigger,

And you savored every sweet moment that life brought you.

One way is to breathe consciously and deeply throughout your day,

To be centered and mindful.

It's an incredibly powerful habit.

Let's imagine it into being or having more of it throughout your day.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your heart and belly.

Take three deep breaths to settle in,

Moving out of your mind and into your body.

For this is where your wisdom is kept,

Your innate knowing that's waiting to be remembered,

To be switched on and experienced each and every day.

When we can learn to bring ourselves back to our heart before our mind responds or assumes or thinks,

We give ourselves that break from our conditioned reaction.

Let's take another deep breath and open the ears of your heart.

Feel that space in your chest,

Listening to the world around you,

Listening to that deeper presence of silence,

Of nature,

Of the hum of life.

Feel that beating through your heart right now and how it brings you calmness and peace.

Note if your thoughts have lessened,

Perhaps gone quiet completely,

As you just witness your breath coming in and out of your heart,

Tuning in to the resonance of everything that's around you and the power of the unseen.

And anchor in how this feels for you in this moment.

If you feel that space,

Ah,

You're taking a breather.

And feel how liberated it is,

Even for this moment,

To be out of your mind.

For the only sane place to live is out of your mind.

And mindfulness is one of those words,

A bit paradoxical,

That really we want mind emptiness,

Not fullness.

And yet we can use the power of our mind to bring us back down to the heart,

Like a magnet drawing us back to the place of being centered,

Through our breath.

Feel your heart like this pulsating magnet of being grounded,

Of being present,

So it feels very solid in the center of your chest.

We can let go of forgetting how powerful we are,

Switch on that remembering,

And open to the revelation that you have this power within you,

To bring yourself back to the centered space,

Each and every time you choose.

Opening up your ability that,

In that split second,

Where you would normally make a response or reaction,

Breathe down into that magnet of your chest.

Breathe,

Center,

And then respond.

Taking that split-second pause is oh so powerful through your day.

The fear of your mind starts to dissipate,

Disintegrate,

And instead you start pulsating that field of love in your heart that can appreciate the vibration of life around you that's here to hold and support you out of reaction,

Into being.

Breathe that through your chest.

Can you imagine it into being?

You can commit to bringing yourself down to your breath,

To your heart,

In your day.

Not only in those challenging moments,

But attach it to a new habit.

Every time you fill your water bottle,

Take a breath and sink in to the silence of your heart.

Every time you use the bathroom,

Move out of your mind and in to the space of your heart.

Taking a moment for the gratitude of your day so far.

As you're bottering around,

Making lunch or dinner,

Be present,

Be mindful.

Are your thoughts racing to the future or trudging over what happened in the past?

Bring yourself back to the sweet moment of now.

Can you imagine that into being?

Opening up your ability and willingness to do this,

Even if it's just for today.

And tomorrow you wake up and commit once again to being mindful through your day.

Breathing into your heart that pulsation of possibility,

Of running your day with more space.

Out of that busyness of your mind and exhaustion and overwhelm and breathe yourself back into the revelation that you have the power to change.

Every single person does.

Breathing deeply and consciously costs you nothing except a moment of mindfulness.

Commit in your heart to hearing what's going on and with the ears of your heart,

Listen for that sound of spaciousness once again.

Take a deep breath through your heart.

So commit in this moment that the next time you find yourself in a tricky situation,

That you take this pause and breathe.

Move out of that fear-based reaction of our mind and know we've got the power to choose how we react.

It's a real sign of maturity.

When you get to that point that no matter what anyone says or that anything occurs,

You don't have to have it have power over you.

This capability to rise above it comes with practice and commitment.

Can you imagine a daily life where you find yourself more time?

So close your eyes again and imagine feeling you are in control of your attitude and response in every moment.

Imagine having a solid center of space in your heart and body where everything wasn't such a rush.

Imagine if you could remember the power you've got within to make changes in your life no matter what is going on.

Imagine if you could look back at the past day or week or year and really appreciate those wonderful moments you've had instead of the drama and the angst.

Can you imagine if you took time at the end of every day to be grateful for whatever has unfolded and set that intention for tomorrow?

Allow these imaginings to percolate and permeate through your heart,

Body and soul,

Returning the power to the truth of where it lies,

Your soul nature out of your mind.

Take another deep breath and come back.

Now that we've switched on your remembrance of mindfulness,

You might like to dive deeper into what holds you back from experiencing this all the time.

My mini course from forgetting to mindfulness will help you do just that.

Start living a higher life through mindfulness.
