Together, let’s practice a breathwork technique called coherent breathing to bring balance into your life. This means equal parts inhale and exhale which aligns with our body's natural rhythms and promotes a state of harmony. By practicing this technique, we can connect more deeply with the natural world and its calming influence. Bonus points if you do this while sitting in a quiet place in nature. Sometimes I like to call this practice wave breathing because you can picture the image of the gentle rise of the ocean wave as you breathe in, and the fall of the wave as you breathe out. Remember, nature is always there to support and ground you. By tuning into the natural rhythms through your breath, you can find calm and clarity in any moment.

Look deep into nature,

And then you will understand everything better.

Albert Einstein.

Today's breathwork meditation is on connecting with nature.

Hey,

Hannah here,

And I welcome and acknowledge you for being here.

Take a moment to get a good stretch in,

Reaching both hands above your head,

Breathing in,

Reaching both hands out on either side of you as you extend your arms from left to right.

And then giving yourself a giant bear hug as you exhale,

Sinking into a quiet space and posture that feels good for you,

Where you can fully immerse yourself in this moment of peace.

If it feels safe,

Gently float your eyes to a close,

And just take a few deep breaths in your nose and out your mouth.

Today's breathwork technique is called coherent breathing,

Which brings balance into your life.

This means equal parts inhale and exhale,

Which aligns with our body's natural rhythms and promotes a state of harmony.

By practicing this technique,

We can connect more deeply with the natural world,

With our inner world,

And its calming influence.

Bonus points if you do this while sitting in a quiet place in nature.

Sometimes I like to call this practice wave breathing,

Because you can picture the image of the gentle rise of the ocean wave as you breathe in,

And the fall of the wave as you breathe out.

Here we go.

Bringing to mind that wave rising as you breathe in,

Inhaling through your nose for a count of six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Open mouth,

Exhale,

Picture that wave falling,

Breathing out,

Four,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Awesome job.

You've got this.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Taking a slight pause here.

For these last two rounds,

I invite you to find an image of yourself in nature that brings you peace,

A forest,

A beach,

A meadow.

Feel the connection to the natural world and the calming influence it has on your body.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Big inhale,

Cleansing exhale,

Bringing both hands to rest on top of your heart,

Acknowledging the love and connection to nature within,

And acknowledging all emotions and all experiences that you carry because all of you matters.

Slowly floating your eyes open,

Returning to this space,

Sending you peace and love.
