Behind all of the thinking and all of the doing and all of the being is our true essence and I'd like to refer to that as the one who is watching.
And it's from this space that non-attachment yet total involvement exists.
It's from that space that we can be in the world and participate in the world while also being aware that we are so much more than just our expression in this physical realm.
And that we are so much more even in just the realms of thinking and character traits and personalities and desires and dreams.
I found for myself that the easiest way to tap into and attune to this space of conscious awareness is by noticing the stillness in between the inhale and the exhale.
The breath is always in the now.
Always completely absolved in the present moment.
And when I notice that stillness,
I can go deeper by asking myself,
Who is the one that is doing the noticing?
Who is the one who is watching?
And the answer is not spoken.
It's just a level of expansive perception that awakens within.
And by practicing throughout the days as often as remember to,
And by doing what is done not through identification with it,
But rather doing it as creation unfolding in the knowing that we are creation creating.
That simply in our being ourselves and you being yourself is creation being,
Is the universe being,
Is God being.
You are God being.
I am God being.
And so when we step into this space of just self-awareness and watching the being and then going even deeper to seeing,
To feeling,
To perceiving the one who is watching,
That is the one,
The I am.
That is the universe within.
Seeing its outer expression.
And that knowing and experiencing life from that knowing is what adds magic to even the most mundane action and also what allows acceptance and forgiveness to that which we wish to release and rise above.
And in this practice nothing needs to be pushed away.
Nothing needs to be called upon.
It's just breathing which your body already knows how to do.
You already know how to do and you have done it successfully and perfectly your whole life because you're still here.
And so just breathe and feel and know all that you are.
Asay.
Namaste.
