Namaste,
Sacred soul.
Find a comfortable place where you would be undisturbed for a few minutes.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Let's do this one more time.
Deep inhale,
Taking all the freshness in.
And exhale,
Release all the tension that might be there in your body.
During this meditation,
There is no rush,
No urgency.
Just this moment unfolding like a quiet river,
Flowing effortlessly.
You have carried the weight of a thousand thoughts,
Thoughts looping,
Circling,
Returning like restless birds searching for a place to land.
But for now,
Let those thoughts rest.
And let yourself rest.
Ask yourself,
Can I allow my thoughts to slow down?
Can I give myself permission to just be in the here and now?
Take another deep breath in,
Really deep and really slow.
Feel the air filling your lungs like the first light of dawn.
And as you exhale,
Let go.
Let go of all these stories you've been telling yourself.
Let go of the noise.
Let go of the what ifs and the should haves.
As you settle down to a natural rhythm of breathing,
Come to an understanding that your mind is not your enemy.
It's only a child,
Sometimes restless,
Sometimes seeking,
Always trying to keep you safe.
But safety is not in control.
Safety is actually in surrender.
Ask yourself,
Can I soften into this moment?
Can I trust that I don't need to hold everything all at once?
Place your hand on your heart gently and feel the rhythm beneath your fingers.
This is your truth,
My friend,
Steady,
Unwavering,
Always present.
While thoughts come and go like passing clouds,
Your awareness remains untouched,
Still,
Infinite.
Everything will be okay.
In the here and now,
You are safe.
As you breathe in and as you breathe out,
Imagine now that your thoughts are like leaves floating down a quiet stream.
Some leaves move quickly,
Some hesitate on the surface,
But none of them stay.
They are not you.
You are the river,
Vast,
Deep,
And flowing beyond the edge of sight.
Ask yourself,
Can I let my thoughts pass without holding on to them?
Can I trust that I am more than my mind?
My friend,
My fellow traveler,
You're not meant to hold everything at once.
You're allowed to set things down.
And when you set things down,
Life still moves,
The world still turns,
And you,
My love,
Are still enough.
There is a greater intelligence at work here,
The wisdom of your heart at play,
A divine unfolding beyond what your mind can see.
Ask yourself,
Can I trust that I don't have to solve everything right now?
Can I allow things to unfold in their own time?
You don't have to figure it all out now.
You only need to breathe,
To trust,
To rest,
To just be.
Because peace is not something you chase.
It is something in you,
It is something you return to.
And now,
You have returned home to yourself.
I will leave you here for about a minute.
Be at ease,
Soften to this moment,
The simple,
Mundane,
Powerful breath.
I'll see you in 60 seconds.
Let's focus on the inhale and the relaxing exhale.
Your mind is lighter now,
Your body softer,
Your heart open.
And whenever you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the space.
Know that the stillness that you have found can be with you in your awareness throughout the day.
Open your eyes whenever you feel ready.
Namaste.
