Welcome to your meditation for alignment.
Taking the first few moments here to settle in,
Get yourself comfortable,
Lengthen your spine,
Shut down the eyes,
Soften the muscles in your face,
Unclench the jaw.
Feel your body resting on the surface that supports it.
Spend a few moments now to connect with the breath,
Not changing it,
Just noticing it.
Notice the expansion in the belly and the chest on the inhale and the softening on the exhale.
Inhale to arrive and exhale to anchor into this space.
Awareness of the in-breath and awareness of the out-breath.
Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to quiet the mind and bring the body to stillness.
There's nothing to do,
Nowhere to go,
Just presence.
Present moment awareness.
As we sink a little deeper here,
Peeling back some layers now.
Peel back the layers of the roles that you play,
Your job title,
Your roles in your family,
Parent,
Sibling,
Child,
The role in your community,
Coach,
Neighbor,
Friend.
Peel back all the old patterns and conditioning that were programmed in childhood.
Peel back all the thoughts you tell yourself,
Allowing all that to melt away.
Noticing here what's left.
Alignment with your truest,
Most authentic self.
Staying here in this place of purity,
Light,
Alignment.
Noticing how that feels in your body.
Feel the lightness.
Feel the expansion.
If your thinking mind takes you away,
Just notice that and come right back to your practice.
There's nowhere else to be.
Just aligning with your truest,
Purest,
Most authentic self.
Allowing your breath to keep you present and connected.
Noticing the inhale and the exhale.
Knowing that this connection with your breath can bring you into alignment with your truth at any time.
The purity,
The authenticity of who you really are.
So as we prepare to close off this meditation,
Intending to keep this connection that you've cultivated with you as you move into the rest of your day or evening.
Now gently bringing some movement to your fingers and your toes.
And the eyes if they were closed.
Thank yourself for taking the time here for this connection and alignment.
And I thank you for joining me and allowing me to guide you in this practice.
Namaste.
