Welcome to the Soul Purpose Meditation CD.

My name is Steve D'Annunzio.

I want to explain the purpose of meditation because many times people look at meditation as kind of weird Eastern mysticism,

And it's really not.

It's a spiritual discipline that has eight main purposes.

And the first main purpose is to transcend the ego-thinking mind.

Most of us listen to the chatterbox inside of our head,

And we believe that that chatterbox,

Which I call the ego-thinking mind,

Is correct,

Right,

Purposeful,

And that even thoughts are pleasurable.

And what you'll realize is,

Any times one may be feeling stress,

You'll notice that the source of the stress,

If you look very carefully with great awareness,

The source of the stress,

Which is blamed on some external event,

Is actually the thinking around the event.

And so at some point we recognize that by meditating we get a chance to come into a higher place of awareness.

We transcend the ego-thinking mind.

We transcend the belief that I am the thoughts and the thinker,

And we go into a higher place that might be called the I am.

And so we reverse the Cartesian paradigm saying,

I think,

Therefore I am,

And we come into a new soul-purpose paradigm called I am,

Therefore I think.

And we identify with ourselves in the transcendence of the ego-thinking mind as the I am,

As what I refer to as the God-self.

So the first benefit of meditation is transcending the ego-thinking mind and coming into a place of peace,

Which is a phenomenal breakthrough in the history of the soul.

The second is,

Prayer is speaking to God,

Meditation is listening to God.

And so as we listen to God,

We tune into a higher power source.

The second benefit of meditation is listening to God to be revealed truth.

As the I am,

You recognize that I don't know anything.

You come into a place of stunning not knowing,

And it's brilliant because it opens up the God-self connection,

Almost as if you're a laptop computer on an airplane and you're disconnected from your power source and you're also disconnected from internet access.

When you're not meditating,

When you're not tuned into the God-self,

That's your power level.

When you're not in power,

You can do a little bit.

When you're meditating and you tie into the I am and you connect to a higher source of power,

You're like a laptop plugged into a higher power source where plugged into a wall socket you're into an infinite source of power and adding an internet connection,

You can download reams and reams of information from any library in the world with the touch of a button.

So it's a much higher level of power and it's a much higher level of knowledge when you're tied into the God-self.

So the second benefit of meditation is the ability to listen to God to be revealed truth instead of constantly overlaying erroneous ego meanings onto external events.

The third benefit of meditation is that it helps raise your consciousness and you begin to recognize that the true secret of human evolution is the evolution of your consciousness.

Because with a greater consciousness level,

There's going to be more power flowing through you.

With more power flowing through you,

There's greater value received by others around you and when others are receiving greater value,

You're going to be experiencing greater prosperity,

A longer life and greater health.

And it ties you into your soul purpose.

Soul purpose exists on the stairway of selves step called acceptance.

It's the first step of the spiritual realm.

Most people,

Whether religious or so-called spiritual,

Are not in the spiritual domain.

They're stuck in the mind.

And so the purpose of meditation again is you transcend the ego thinking mind,

It brings you into the spiritual realm where soul purpose lies fully formed.

So the third benefit is living your soul purpose,

Discovering your soul purpose.

The fourth benefit is that living soul purpose burns down negative karma.

What do I mean by karma?

Karma is merely an inheritance.

Before the soul came into the body,

It was somewhere doing something and it accrued karma.

Now karma is looked at as good karma and bad karma.

Really that is just a dualistic illusion.

Karma is merely karma.

Good represents that which a human being desires and bad represents that which a human being does not desire.

But let's say negative karma is karma that is painful.

What happens when you meditate is that it quickens one's shedding of the negative karma.

As you meditate,

Because it gets you closer to your soul purpose,

You start loving people more.

And of course,

As you love people more,

The karma sheds even faster.

So it's a quickening of any so-called negative events or painful events.

And it not only quickens them coming to you,

But quickens the transmutation of them.

You go through it quicker.

You don't experience as much pain because you're remembering God so much more now.

You're in a state of surrender.

You're surrendering the negatives to God as they arise.

So the fourth benefit is burning down negative karma.

The fifth is that it accesses what might be called supermanhood or superwomanhood.

And what I mean by that is because it raises your consciousness to such a higher degree,

You are really thinking and behaving at such a higher level of conscious power.

You're accessing a realm of power that might be called the Christ consciousness or the Buddhahood.

So it really changes who you are as a being.

You're accessing such a higher level of power and limitless energy that it's a more powerful version of you emerging.

Obviously,

It's simple to know that when one is in pride or victim or fear mode,

That's a lower level of power than when one is in wisdom or love or unconditional love.

So it accesses a higher version of you and expedites this higher version of you,

Which is the fifth benefit.

The sixth benefit is that you begin to receive new ideas for books and projects and ideas that serve humanity.

And these projects and books leave behind an individual legacy.

As an example,

Because Einstein lived his sole purpose and was a very spiritual man,

We have his legacy of E equals MC squared.

We have the legacy of his speeches,

His books.

So we have this very powerful legacy,

The same thing you look at with Mother Teresa,

Benjamin Franklin,

And so on and so forth.

You see this very powerful legacy left behind through the accessing of these new books,

CDs,

Ideas to serve others.

And these ideas to serve others flow through you greater to a greater degree as you're meditating.

So we could say that's the next benefit of meditation.

The next benefit we would say is,

And is the seventh benefit,

Is that we are accessing the fourth dimension of consciousness.

The first dimension of consciousness is conscious mind.

The second is subconscious mind,

A little more powerful than just the conscious.

The third is the super conscious.

When you're meditating,

You are entering into the fourth realm of consciousness,

Which is collective super consciousness.

What does that mean?

It means that there is one being on earth in six billion human forms.

We could call it the collective over soul or collective super consciousness.

We could call it the Christ consciousness.

It's Buddhahood.

It's been called by many different names,

But it's all one and the same thing.

It is the place where we are all interconnected that when we enter into this field of energy,

We effectuate other forms.

So we effectuate other people to be more loving.

What's a practical example?

Well,

Imagine someone is meditating,

Let's say they're in the United States and they're meditating and they are the 10,

000th meditator that morning and they cross a tipping point of energy into the field.

And here's this young boy about to walk into a delicatessen in Jerusalem with a bomb strapped to himself.

And right before he goes in,

He says a prayer and in the prayer,

Because in his prayer,

He goes into collective super consciousness,

He hears from God,

Don't do this because you meditated.

Now we have evidence that this is truth.

The evidence that this is truth is that a daily study of a two month assembly in Israel in 1983 showed that on days when the number of participants in the meditation group was high,

War deaths in neighboring Lebanon dropped by 76 percent.

War related fatalities decreased by 71 percent.

War related injuries fell by 68 percent.

And cooperation among the antagonists increased by 66 percent.

Other possible causes such as weekends,

Holidays,

Weather were statistically taken into consideration as part of the control in this experiment.

These results were subsequently replicated in seven consecutive experiments over a two year period during the peak of the Lebanon War.

So the likelihood that these combined results were due to chance is less than one part in 10 to the 19th power,

Making this effect of reducing societal stress and conflict the most rigorously established phenomenon in the history of the social sciences.

And this is just a scientific study on the powers of meditation.

So this isn't hearsay.

This is a really well researched study that when we meditate,

We are effectuating the whole of the field via entrance into a field of consciousness that may be called collective super consciousness.

And finally,

The last thing is it makes you happier.

The eighth thing about meditation,

It's used in migraine headache studies that when some people that have taken the medicine and still don't get the effects they want,

The last thing that's created that last piece of mind is meditation.

When you meditate,

You just become a happier person.

You become a more peaceful person.

You become a more aware person.

You become the God self.

These are the benefits of meditation.
