In this soft morning session, we begin our day by taking some time to focus on breath, give ourselves loving touch and set our intentions- all while still in bed. We also stretch our bodies, getting ready for our day. We expand from within, creating space. This is a very peaceful & loving way to start the day.

Good morning,

Friends.

What a beautiful day this is going to be,

No matter what comes our way.

We start by giving ourselves some love and gratitude before our feet hit the floor.

Start by placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.

You can close your eyes.

Start to take a deep,

Long,

Steady breath in through your nose and all the way down to your diaphragm.

Allow your hand to rise on your belly and exhale at the same steady,

Calm pace out of your mouth.

Begin to feel your hand rising when the breath of life enters your body.

Start to also pay attention to the beating of your heart with your other hand.

Heartbeat and breath are connections to life.

We are here for the human experience and it is through our body that we are able to experience this,

To be a human,

To be alive.

And as we lay here,

Start to tell yourself your own mantra.

If you don't have a mantra,

It's okay and perhaps you can think of one now.

I have a few mantras that I return to and I discover them in time,

Which also can be a fun process because you realize the power of words and what impact that can have.

A few that I use are,

I am powerful.

I am in love.

Light lives within me.

Feel free to use any of those or create your own.

What is your intention for this day?

Continue to stay connected to your breath and to the sensation of your own touch.

Your own hands touching your own body.

Feel that activity,

Feel that life beneath your hands,

Living within your own ecosystem.

Taking some breaths here.

Continue to intentionally do your deep breathing in through the nose and steady and calm out of your mouth as you say your mantra for the day.

I'll give you two minutes to do this.

GOODappropri transportation by All Start to slowly open up your eyes and as you do take a deep inhale and start to smile as you exhale out your mouth.

As you're in your face you start to feel that smile.

Even if you woke up with anxiety in your belly or perhaps a broken heart.

Just try this for a little bit.

By physically smiling that physical sensation is related to the internal sensation we have associated with happiness and smiles.

And as we're smiling very gently take those breaths of life in.

We are grateful to be alive even if times it hurts so very badly perhaps physically mentally or emotionally.

But we are alive and we are still doing the human experience which means that we have a chance to do great things for ourselves our loved ones and our community.

Start to stretch your arms overhead.

Straighten your legs reaching them away.

Start to find that expansion within your body within your spine.

Let's take your feet to the very far left side of your body.

Cross your right ankle over your left and feel like somebody is pulling your legs away from your core very gently.

With your arms overhead gently take your left hand.

To gently pull on your right wrist keeping your pelvis in the place at the center and just feeling the stretch and expansion within the right side of your body.

As you breathe and take your breath to the right side open up actively stretching your own body giving your own self the support that you need.

Breathe.

Now start to realign your body back to the center to do another stretch.

Find length in your spine all throughout your toes to your hands and then take your limbs to the far right side.

Anchoring your pelvis down.

Cross the left ankle over the right.

Again feel like someone is pulling your legs away from you finding length.

Now your right hand will gently pull on your left wrist finding that openness within the left side of your body.

Breathe into the tightness on the left now.

Now start to realign your body and uncross your ankles and return back to your mantra from the beginning.

As you are connecting here soul minded body aligning your own self to get ready for your day.

Use the power of movement the power of breath and your words with the intention and intuition to go about your day all throughout.

Return to this anytime.
