Welcome to this opportunity to breathe.

Finding a comfortable place to lay down.

Feel free to find a pillow,

A blanket.

Something to cover your eyes if you wish.

Creating for yourself a safe space.

Today we will focus on our conscious connected breath practice.

The theme today is Earth,

The element of Earth.

Beginning our breath,

Rooting it down into the low belly.

Taking some deep nourishing breaths.

Establishing the foundation in the root of our body.

This practice breathes in and out through the mouth.

Allowing the body to establish an easy but open expansive inhale.

Allowing the low diaphragm to fill effortlessly on the inhale.

Creating more space,

More openness,

More receptivity in the body.

The exhale,

Falling away,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Continuing to breathe down into the root,

The pelvic floor,

The low back,

The bottom of the diaphragm.

Connecting the breath,

No pause at the bottom or top.

The inhale falling effortlessly away into the exhale.

From the exhale,

The inhale bouncing back vibrantly,

Opening and receiving.

Finding a natural rhythm,

Listening deeply to your body.

Allowing this breath to be nourishing,

To be.

Offering more intimacy,

A feeling of safety in your body.

Tuning in to your right to be here,

Your right to have this body,

To be prosperous and alive.

Using this breath to feel more deeply the sensations moving in the body.

Allowing the music to fill you.

Feel the ground underneath.

Feel your connection to the earth.

Feel her supporting you,

Offering her nourishment.

This life force energy.

This feeling of stability,

Of rootedness,

Groundedness.

Feel your connection to her,

To mother earth.

Keep coming back to that low deep belly breath.

Allowing the breath to move down again into the pelvic floor just below the navel.

Deep down into the low back.

Accessing the muladhara,

Our root chakra center.

Letting go of any control,

Letting go of your fears,

Continuing to feel what's alive in the body.

If your mind distracts and moves away from the present moment,

Simply coming back.

No judgment,

No worry.

Simply come back to the feeling of being alive.

Inhaling to open,

Activate,

And then letting go with the exhale.

Noticing any constriction in the throat,

Any holding,

Resistance,

Control of the breath.

Within this technique,

Allowing the breath to move effortlessly like a wave in the body.

Our focus is down,

Rooted in the low belly,

Low diaphragm,

Pelvic floor,

And low back.

But over time,

Allowing the breath to move into the solar plexus,

Eventually into the heart space,

The chest,

And the throat.

Allowing a full-bodied inhale,

And again,

A completely relaxed,

Released exhale.

A soft sigh.

Trust in your body's own intelligence.

There's no right way of doing this.

Use the structure to your benefit.

What does your body need here?

The more we breathe,

The more we deepen into an intimacy with ourselves.

An intuitive,

Felt sense of what you need,

Of what the breath can offer you.

Keep breathing,

My friend.

Come back to the feeling of your body on the earth.

You may imagine roots beginning to stretch from your body.

Your heels,

The backs of your legs,

Your pelvis,

Your torso,

Your arms,

And your head.

These roots gently reaching down through the core of the earth,

To the ground beneath you.

Imagine these roots are nourishing,

Bringing energy up from the earth into your body,

Giving back to you.

Once more,

Creating a greater foundation of security,

Of safety,

Of trust.

Continuing to breathe,

Allowing the breath to be your focus,

And allowing these layers of visualization to be a support if you need.

The breath is paramount.

Your job simply to feel and be here,

Be present with your breath.

Beautiful work,

My friend.

Keep it going.

In and out.

In and out.

In any time you feel tension in the body,

Feel free to move,

To shake,

To release that tension in any way that feels beneficial to you,

Maintaining the breath as best you can through the movement.

May also take a deep tone.

Finding a deep,

Full inhale and releasing an ah,

An ohm,

For as long as you need.

Opening is a beautiful tool to release and move energy in the body,

Letting go of anything that's holding or resisting.

Opening the airways.

Beautiful breathing.

Continuing.

Deepening.

Feel free to play with your own sense of tempo,

Making sure the breath remains connected.

Once more,

No pause at the bottom or top of the breath.

You are in control.

Find the depth,

The intensity that works for you in this moment.

Anything that arises,

Any emotions,

Felt charges in the body are here to be integrated and felt unconditionally.

The breath is your tool to allow these to move,

To integrate,

Be healed.

Feel what is there and then come back to the breath,

Giving yourself permission to vocalize anything you need.

To save space.

Everything you need is in you.

It's always and already there for you to feel and experience.

Keep coming back to the ground of your foundation,

The ground of your being.

Breath rooting down into the belly,

Down to the pelvic floor.

Your right to be here.

Your right to feel.

Feel alive in your body.

Feel connected and present to all the sensations that are here.

Continuing to breathe.

Feels good to trust.

Feels good to be safe.

I let go effortlessly.

I receive fully.

Beautiful work.

As we come to the last few minutes of our practice,

Taking what you need,

Feeling fully,

Allowing anything that wants to move to be released.

Coming back to the foundation of your own body,

Your own presence and awareness here.

An invitation to take a deep Aum with me.

Visualize,

Deep inhale.

Ahhhh home.

Allowing your body to rest,

To come back to a state of relaxation,

Of resting and digesting,

Of nourishing the parasympathetic nervous system.

Thank you for your presence,

For your energy,

Taking a few moments to be with yourself,

Allowing the breath to settle,

Deepening into anything that needs to be felt,

Allowing Spirit to do the rest.

Allowing your body to rest,
