Hello and welcome to this bath time meditation.
This practice is designed to help you relax and connect to a deep sense of tranquility as you soak in your bath.
Let's set the intention that we will allow ourselves to fully unwind and embrace this calming experience.
Before we begin,
Let's make sure that the water is at the perfect temperature and that you have everything you need around you in order for this to be the most relaxing experience possible.
Closing your eyes and resting your head back if you can,
Let's take a few slow deep breaths.
Inhaling deeply through your nose and allowing your belly to completely relax and expand.
And when you exhale,
Allowing your belly to dip back down towards the spine,
Forming a close connection with this slow rise and fall of the belly with each and every breath.
And after you've taken a few of these slow deep breaths,
Let's check and scan the body for any areas of tightness or tension.
On your next exhale,
Allowing all of the tension in your body to completely fall away,
Almost as though you are melting into the water.
Now that you've felt yourself start to truly connect to this moment,
Begin to visualize that the water that is surrounding you is infused with a powerful healing and cleansing force.
Visualize that as you lie here and surrender to this moment,
You are releasing and the water is drawing out any negativity,
Any stress,
Any worries,
Any pain,
Anything that is no longer serving you,
Be that physical,
Mental,
Or emotional.
And all of these things are just dissolving into the water.
With every breath,
You feel even lighter,
Even more relaxed.
Now that we're feeling beautifully relaxed and connected to the present moment,
Let's take some time for some gratitude for this moment of self-care,
For the water in the bathtub,
To yourself for making time for this experience.
Simply soaking yourself in gratitude for your body and everything that it does for you.
Repeating these affirmations either silently or out loud to help deepen your state of relaxation.
I am calm and centered.
I am releasing all stress and tension from my body.
I am at peace with myself.
And now just allowing some time for quiet reflection,
An opportunity to be present in this moment without any specific focus.
Your mind might bounce from topic to topic,
But this is an invitation to not overly focus on any thoughts that you have,
But to take a step back and become the observer of those thoughts.
As your mind wanders and you enjoy this feeling of weightlessness and relaxation.
And I'll leave you in this beautiful moment of solitude and relaxation.
Just listening to the music and allowing yourself the time to fully unwind.
